As it stands, they have effectively got the same squad as the end of last season. Their 2 loan players have become permanent fixtures for substantial fees and they've replaced an experienced goalie with another experienced goalie.

Outwith the main issue, I have concerns about the state of the pitch when the construction is over. There is a significant portion of the pitch covered with boards getting zero sunlight and water. That's not going to look when lifted.

No great surprise. Early games in the League cup games are usually poorly attended at the best of times. Throw in the current mood surrounding our team and the Hampdump factor, I won't be surprised by a poor turn out.

Regardless of what he was signed as, it is clear that he can cause the opposition problems further up the pitch. Cortes is injured. Matondo is a wasted jersey. Fraser is a LB therefore a round peg in a round whole. Its a no brainer IMO.
