A total non event, increasing costs, who pays ?

In an ideal world the Corinthian spirit would reign supreme, in the real world money and politics rule all avenues of life, just the way it has always been.

Former employee thinks no managerial announcement today.

New management team: Mark Warburton and David Weir
raygun replied to gisabeer's topic in Rangers Chat
It appears to be that DK had dinner with WS in Gamba West George St. last night, perhaps just reminiscing rather than WS advising on a new manager. -
Hard to keep up Gilligan said, An investment plan will be available prior to the sale of season tickets. I take it that is no longer the case, also some saying a big increase in season ticket prices will be announced.

Another slant on the position from someone at NARSA. -
Chris Jack is an extremely poor journalist who appears to regurgitate 4 day old rumours as news.

I would think it is even less bright to put your assets at risk. -
Directors’ recommendation to the Company’s shareholders
raygun replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Seems clear enough. The Board is pleased to announce that the Company's subsidiary, The Rangers Football Club Limited ("RFCL") has entered into a credit facility agreement with MASH Holdings Limited ("MASH") pursuant to which MASH shall make available the sum of £2 million for drawdown by the Company (the "Facility"). MASH is a shareholder in the Company holding 8.92% of the voting rights in the Company. The Facility shall be secured by standard security granted by the Company over Edmiston House and Albion car park. The Facility shall be for a 6 month term and is interest free. The Facility will be used by the Company for general working capital purposes. Under the terms of the Facility MASH has the right to appoint up to 2 directors on the board of directors of RFCL. -

I see they SD/Mash have security that they cannot call, a novel idea. -

Why not just pay Mash off and get our assets back, start with a clean sheet, what happens if there is an impasse and Ashley/Mash call up their security. -
I didn't suggest anything, I stated the job should have been advertised and I stand by that.
-
As I said I hold the Ranger's managers position someway above a bargaining position on Amazon, your opinion is obviously at odds with mine, there I will leave it.
-
RM had to worry about a manager same as us, they didn't mess about. The most successful club team in football us, are to await the whim of some person who will make a decision on which division we inhabit. I am of an opinion that it is the Rangers Board who should be making the decision not some interviewed party, there again I see the managers position at Ibrox as an honour of the highest magnitude, not a bargaining chip for some interviewee. Advertising the job would have saved a lot of unwarranted speculation and introduced people who wanted the job above any bargaining stance.

Real Madrid seem to cope with modern day society even to the extent of appointing a manager quickly, at this rate the pre-season will be upon us and we will still be looking. Edited to add. The longer SM remains insitu the more I am convinced he will be our ongoing manager/coach.
-
They aren't after over 3 months making a very good job of it, perhaps we should get rid of the two managers we have and that might increase efforts on our behalf.
-
No I want them to have picked a manager who can pick the team, although that goes against what King said about employing a coach and not a manager.
-
Aren't journalists/reporters supposed to report facts to allow the reader to make up their own mind.
-
People expect after 3 months a pro-active board to be running the club, after all there is said to be no lack of funds to facilitate such actions by the board.

Hibs already signing players, what are we doing apart from waiting for information on anything and everything.

11 players released including Boyd and McCulloch
raygun replied to Ser Barristan Selmy's topic in Rangers Chat
The article said released, i.e. not offered a further contract. -

Which as said cannot be classed as knowledge of lower leagues. -
New management team: Mark Warburton and David Weir
raygun replied to gisabeer's topic in Rangers Chat
As stated previously Warburton had at least six players from the EPL clubs in London as loan players, hardly lower league. -

The very obvious question is to ask who gave the order for the players to be released, a football person or someone else, can't really see how it could be a football person, unless of course our present manager is also our new manager. -
I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Where I come from push someone you can expect consequences.
