Tough one to call, I think Liverpool will win on away goals over the course of the two matches. Depends on Gerrard's fitness too. Lampard shouldn't be playing by the way, his mind will be elsewhere with his mother being severly ill.

Another messy display today, we had more luck with high balls through the middle to little Nacho than down the flanks. Getting worried with Fiorentina and Septic still to come !!!

As I mentioned previously in a post a few months back we yet again find ourselves in a very big derby match with the enemy just days after a massive UEFA cup match. Could this be why the players struggle. The SFA needs to sort this out for next season or no Scottish team will reach this far for a long time. Another thing, we could play Septic up to 7 times a season, 4 league matches, two possible cup matches and a European meeting might even one day happen. I guess Rangers will need a 60-man squad for next season !

Is anyone else getting paranoid about this ? That's a few players from opposition teams this season accusing us of Anti-Football. It's been one of our best seasons in a long time but should we be playing with a lot more style and panache ?? We normally have 2 defensive midfielders behind Fergie in the big matches but we all know the ball normally goes backwards from these 2 defensive midfielders instead of forward. Ok we're missing Beasley who has a lot of pace and trickery but would he get a game if McCulloch or Adam were fully fit ?? Burke or Novo, even Buffel should start more matches on the right maybe and get Davis into the centre with Fergie and maybe only play one defensive midfielder perhaps ?? Still, if we win the quadruple would we care about Anti-football ?? I'm guessing next season we may have one or two more flair players all the same.

Agreed, being touched in any way by a spunk-monkey in a green and white shirt should result in a penalty for indecent assault !

Tranmere Rovers. One of the best FA cup matches I ever witnessed was Tranmere coming from 0-3 down at home to Everton to win 4-3. Magnificent. Who was that guy with the monster throw-ins ???

Let's face it, our first defeat in how many games, 28/29 ?? We're still on for the quadruple and maybe last night was a kick up the bum. We do need to be a bit more positive though. It was only the 1st part of the second half that we showed more creativity and kept the ball for longer periods. Nacho da' man !!:

I was almost out of the door to have a much needed ciggy when they stole that goal at the end, disgusted. I think it was just a natural reaction from Cuellar, he knew it was sneaking under the bar. If MacGregor is out for a while I'd suggest King Carlos should be our keeper !! What about big gentle Dave Weir and Caldwell ?!?! What happened at the end, I thought Fergie and McManus got on alright ??
