  1. Funny that, eh?
  2. Knew it. Cheating b*stards.
  3. I'm waiting for it to be chalked off...
  4. That's twice Scales has taken out one of our players off the ball.
  5. That's yellows for both or none, you cheating b*stards.
  6. Dessers off, Sima on. Is Silva or Sima going up front?
  7. What is the difference? Push on Sterling - nothing. [Soft] Push on the Jap - foul. Oh – one wears a blue jersey. Arseholes.
  8. Tavernier looks a bit fragile, doesn't he?
  9. Diomande is the one that's showing some bite.
  10. It's a 4-4-2 mid-block, no press, which is fine but we can't be moved around so easily.
  11. Jefte: 'Olá. Feliz por estar aqui. Estou ansioso para começar.' Danilo: 'He says, "We arra peepul."'
  12. That's commitment. Me - I'm heading for the back of the Couch.
  13. I'm not sure how he could: Instagram was released in 2010.
  14. He's just retweeting a Sofascore feature about brothers. The disrespect shown to Tavernier is rediculous.
  15. Four-year deal for a 20-year-old Brazilian, signed for nothing.
  16. Bien sur. (It was merely a discussion about playing styles, not necessarily pertaining to Rangers, instigated by @Gonzo79 - blame him.)
  17. Aberdeen are being linked with McCrorie. Best to part ways but I'd put in a buy-back clause.
  18. Yes! Brother! We must fight back against these dinosaurs! Together!
  19. The name's not important. What is important is that it is a reaction against the strict positional play of Guardiola.
  20. I'm not claiming it's a new idea. Like all tactical styles it's based on what has gone before: Guardiola's style is based on the ideas of Cruyff and Michels, which was based on the Hungarian golden team, which in turn was based on the early Scottish passing game. These ideas are always tweaked and reshaped, though; different enough.
  21. You quoted it before I could correct my mistake. It's 'relationism'.
  22. We'll, we had that, then the Italian Catenaccio style shut them down. Nothing better than a tricky winger, though.
  23. I don't disagree. I do think the game is becoming saturated with teams that play positional play a la Guardiola. There will always be a dominant style; that's happened for over a century. However, we have seen a reaction against that style with the geggenpressing style and now the relationism of Fluminense's Diniz and Malmo's Rydstrom. It will take a while for the latter style to spread.
  24. An experienced Dutch assistant manager/coach. I don't know much about him. Anyone's better than Alex Rae!
