Absolutely. We shouldn't be giving them these wages in the first place and, also, they should sold before they reach them in the general increase they get for the length of their stay.

We don't have a small squad; it's actually a decent size: we have two players for each position. Arguably it's still too big. Last season's squad was unbelievably bloated. We've made good progress in reducing it. The issue is we don't have the quality in the squad that we need. That's partly the reason - the main reason being we're skint - why we have to sell to buy; one out, one in.

I don't have a problem with Tavernier's wages, simply because he has been here so long and has been a consistent top performer. Davies and Matondo, though...
