  1. Just had a butchers and it seems set up nicely for those in between you and me !

Very early goals have a habit of being the only goal but it's a longtime to have the French battering on the door.

Yes, I find it inconceivable that Ireland can hold out for 90 minutes -- then again, the counter-attack could be fruitful...

  2. Please give us better games today, football gods!

We have some of the 'favourites' playing today: France, Germany and Belgium. France, who have hardly set the tournament alight despite being undefeated, have a tricky encounter with Ireland. Germany and Belgium have winnable games -- on paper.

  3. Very little gain for the majority, from three very dull games.

The majority got a point for predicting the Wales win, but no one correctly predicted the correct score.

Only onevision and BEARGER got any points for the Croatia-Portugal game, gaining 1 point; again, no one correctly predicted the correct score.

onevision is the only mover in the table, gaining 6 points from the three games. buster. still leads!

  4. The majority of us get zilch, but TB and onevision get full points for predicting the 1-1 draw; blueflag gets a point for predicting the correct result.

The results mean everyone is very close in the table.

  5. Sometime's happens that way but I doubt it.

Lewandoski is surely due a goal though.........

He certainly does! It has been an exciting opening to the game; Poland look very good going forward.

I have to laugh: the BBC pundits were asked to name their player of the tournament thus far, and Lennon picked Poland's Milik: he's just skied a shot at an open goal, and is still to score in the tournament...

  6. I've just read that Slaven Bilic has returned to his West Ham job and won't be a pundit for the rest of the tournament for ITV. I'm gutted -- I'll miss his refreshingly frank and insightful musings on the games. He was excellent to watch: jumping on the desk after Payet's winner was a definite high point.

  7. Since I'm rubbish at this, and have no hope of finishing in the top 5, I've decided to bring in tactics to my predictions and don the Magic Hat...:)

I've taking note of ALL my rival's predictions...I will then take the most popular one's selected and use them to push myself up the table. :champs:

I don't think you're rubbish at all; you actually have the joint 3rd-best correct result record -- it is the correct scores that are keeping you back.

    Look at the table:
