It works in Spain. And, I think, Spain are doing better than Scotland?

So it's a straight swap? Man Utd have got the better end of that deal.

500k seems like a decent price.

I'll wait until he runs onto the pitch before believing these 'improvements'; there have been many false dawns.
He would be a very good addition: he's the defensive type that we need, but can also pass.

A poor show...
Sorry, Mr Frankie, sir...
I've have now corrected that most egregious oversight.

I've now read it. Rick outlines the situation well.
Does seem a little strange. Ferguson's was a personal 'ban', but The BBC never stopped sending reporters.
Our situation seems without precedent indeed.

Busted!
I skipped some of it...
The shame.

How long was Sir Alex's boycott of the BBC?

Anyone leaving a National job, especially one's own nation, would need a substantial step up; this is barely a side-step.

He's still out of our league.
I would also question his desire: He wanted out of Hull quickly after relegation (not too bad); and now it seems he has his eye on a better job already?
I feel like he's always got an eye on the next job.

Away? What!?

I lost interest 2nd half, but it seems Naismith didn't do much.
That Bartley is a dirty b******!
Pleased Hearts sneaked it like they did.

Lively start from him. He's had a one-on-one, and a lovely through-ball that set up a decent opportunity.
His movement's good; it seems like he'll do something when he gets the ball -- or at least not lose it. I do feel like he has space to do this, though, which may be because Hearts are merely playing long balls which bypasses the Hibs pressing players. Will he get that with us?

Ah... he's playing on the left of a front three, in a 3-4-3 formation, so I suppose he has the license to drift inside.

I switched it on to see how Naismith does.
He's playing on the left, but is right-footed -- we moan at Windass not giving us similar balance because of that -- and he continually drifts inside. He should've scored on one of those runs; being played through one-on-one with a curving run, but the ball trundles wide after rounding the 'keeper.

I understand their reasoning, but the pedigree is there so they should've weathered the difficult period; shat themselves too soon.
Announce, Rangers!

Where are you hearing this?
It was doing the rounds on Twitter, but I'm not sure if it's true or not.

Superb result, but how good are this Bayern side?
I suppose just playing teams like this can only help the youngsters improve -- hopefully beyond anything Scottish football can throw at them!
The article says they're one of the best sides in Europe -- they won their UEFA Youth League. Not bad.

I think we've ruined it for ourselves with the expectation we've place on Alves. I would argue he's been a very good player for us: wins every ball in the air, tough tackler, reads the game well, can hit superb long-passes and he is a leader; what more do we actually need?
Martin will be similar, but we've not placed the same expectation on him so we'll probably think he's a superstar after his first tough tackle!

Why are all my embedded tweets coming up Internal Server Error?
It's nothing you've done - sometimes they take a moment to load properly.

That's a good move for the lad. Hopefully he gets regular games at this level.

Surely we're not interested in O'neill? That would be a bad appointment IMO.
