That aligns with my opinion, though -- and yours I think?

There can't be a coincidence that FdB had his only managerial success at a side that has its own in-built philosophy, one in which he is also steeped. Trying to replicate that anywhere will be near impossible.

That doesn't mean MPH is the answer, just that he's probably a more pragmatic option.

I think there is a positive and negative to bringing Cummings on.

We're losing the midfield battle again, without Windass tracking back (he was playing deeper second half), but we should now have more options in the final third.

I think we're blocking off the central area better, forcing them to put crosses in from wide, which Ales and Martin will deal with all day.

Wingers -- and Windass -- are being a bit more aggressive, stretching the play, meaning Motherwell are forced back a tad more. 

He's not going to give them another 15 minutes, then make his 60 minute subs again, is he?

I actually agreed with your sub, though. 

Taking Windass off for McCrorie could be good -- if we go 3-4-3, with Candeias and Murphy narrower to counter their numbers in midfield.

That's silly, though. 

Your prejudice against Windass aside, Dorrans in Windass' position does not help us. Dorrans needs time and space, none of which are available today.

We need to get Windass in behind, so he can use his pace. 

Docherty and Dorrans are letting the midfielders run off them. They are outnumbered, but they're also not tracking their man.

It's difficult when you're playing thugs, with a Referee against us. 

However, we should be battling better. 

We're outnumbered up front against their 3-5-2. We need to match them. 

We also need to get Windass and Morelos in behind, instead of playing into their feet where a 'Well player is always groping them. 

Someone said on Twitter, younger fans will not know who Rossiter is!

I'm really not expecting Murty to be appointed. I don't think he was ever going to get the job -- unless he won the League, or something similar!

I'm disappointed to say -- who wants Pete agreeing with them... -- but I can't get past his record elsewhere. He has a style, but the only place he's been able to implement it is Ajax, who already played a similar style. We're not Ajax. 

In general, Dutch coaches are stuck on one particular style; they've not progressed as football on the whole has changed. Spanish and German styles are now better. 

There's a reason The Netherlands have failed to qualify for major tournaments recently -- the only one they did well in Van Gaal had them playing ultra-defesively in a 3-5-2; to reach the 2010 World Cup Final.

He's got the prestige, and he has got that 'big'club' style that we need. I'm not sure FdB is the way to go. 

I like McGinn, as a footballer anyway, but not at £5M. 

We're better waiting for him to sign for some Championship club, fail, then pick him up for a £1M.
