I think it has to be a 'clear and obvious mistake', whereas in that situation it was a matter of interpretation, I think?

Of course, that's meaningless when the German defenders gift you the ball in space...

This looks much better from Germany. 

Their full-backs are still very high, but they have a better support structure, with Rudy playing as a proper DM and Kroos playing a deeper, controlling role. Their wide midfielders tuck inside too, so they are not wide open. It means when teams counter, they have players to cover and press.

I’m pleased to see Barker linked. For me loans are fine as long as permanent transfers are likely after a successful spell. We lack pace and a proper dribbling winger and although his end product is very poor it should improve. 

£2.5M is still laughable. 

Maddison -- on loan at Aberdeen two seasons ago -- has just signed for Leicester for £23M.

I'm not saying they are worth that, but we need to be holding out for more. 

£1.5M for a key player? Can we really replace him with £1.5M? I don't think so.
