But then that's not Nana and Jefte's best/primary position, which contradicts your initial point that the "manager is making life very difficult for the team and himself." I would like to see Bajrami at #10 and McCausland played more, but I can understand why they are not. It just seems like a cheap shot at the manager.

He hasn't but that's because Tavernier and now Nana are better. Who plays LW? Cortez and Matondo are out injured. (When they return I believe Bajrami will move Central.) I like McCausland; I'd have him as first choice. There must be a reason, though. Fitness, maybe? He does make a lot of appearances. He's just managing the squad.

I don't think those players are played out of position. Sterling is a utility player and can fill-in in multiple positions. Bajrami has played on the wing and as a #10 throughout his career. I'd like to see him play as a #10 but don't think Lawrence deserves to be dropped. Bajrami has also been very good out wide. I think McCausland has played once on the left, which is unusual for him but quite common for wingers. I don't see the problem.

Haaland blanks again. I was considering captaining Saka, as well...

I'd like to see more of Nana. I might be wrong, but was there not a moment when he was moaning at or encouraging his teammates? More of that.

We don't have the quality in the final third, even against SPFL diddies; but we've been saying that for a couple of seasons. Bajrami is an improvement. If we can get more of his quality we'll be better.
