Got the goal at a good time. Defoe hadn't been convincing with his shots but he kept going back to the right areas.

We've been very good. Deserve our lead, and should have had a couple more.

Katic has been impeccable; reading everything and snuffing everything out.

Arfield has also been his lively self. 

Defoe's movement is good, but his finishing has been off.

Jack's lofted through-ball to play in Davis, who then lifts it to the back post for Defoe to tap it in!

Long range strike from Jack, falling to him from the corner. The shot is drilled low, 'keeper spills it but Defoe... I don't know what happened? Looked easier to score. 

Oh! Defoe scuffs it, but he is offside. 

Couple of half-chances. 

Defoe works some space with a lovely turn, but his shot is blocked. 

Arfield tried to thread through Davis, but the pass is blocked. 

Creative play from Davis, but Tavernier's cross is wayward. 

Gone a bit flat, but I'd still say we're controlling it.

Ha! Kent finds space, and worked a shot for himself. 

The shot is very tame, though.

It just occurred to me that Kent is playing. 

He's marked out the game, but he's also not finding space like Arfield is through his movement. 

Again, I can't help feel Morelos would have taken these chances.

Passing move, chips it into Arfield in the box, Davis played in again, but the cross is deflected wide. 

Defoe through in on goal after controlling a nice through-ball from Tavernier, but his shot is wide. 

Poor finish from a good move and situation.

Arfield takes a long range strike at goal, but it's always rising. 

Dangerous in-swinging free-kick from Tavernier, but Goldson was offside.

Another great passing move releases Tavernier out wide. Decent cross, which drops to Defoe but his shot is deflected out for a goal-kick.

Another good Tavernier cross finding Defoe at the near post, but he's offside; 'keeper saved it too. 

Wonderful passing move straight out of defence, but the final through-ball to Defoe was just too heavy. 

In-swinging free-kick, whipped in, but Arfield's header went over. 

Great chance!
