Morelos' link-up play has been quite good today, for me.

Good run from Morelos and beautiful ball from Hagi. Not a bad strike, but deflected wide. Arfield on for Hagi.

This 0-1 lead is giving me the fear.

Well, that was lovely play: one-two between Kent and Aribo, then nice link-up between Morelos and Hagi; Hagi's pacey shot deflected just wide.

Oh, no! Head injury for Balogun! Bad contact with the post in that goalmouth stramash. He's back on the pitch.

These stupid wee nudges where players throw themselves to the ground are so frustrating. Refs really need to just play on with them.

That's a really good counter from us, with good link-up between Kent and Morelos, but poor execution (right decision) from Hagi, and then poor decision at the second opportunity let us down.

Yeah... Nice ball from Hagi to put Morelos through on-on-one, only for it to hit his heel!

I don't know if Morelos is just slightly off the pace, or I'm willing him to get those breaks that are just not on? He's not been bad, just a wee bit off.

Ok-- I really like Balogun. He's only played 33 minutes, but still. He looks composed, but I like the way he breaks the lines with a run; so simple but really effective. He's doesn't have to run the to opposition box like he did just there! Just one man is enough.

Kamara looks like he's regained his confidence. He's not done anything, but just his overall attitude looks better. On form, he's a terrific player.

Nice pass from Morelos, Kent staying on side, and is through one-on-one; lovely composed finish into the far corner.

Aberdeen have barely had the ball, but win a stupid foul in our half. Of course, they lump it into the b --- Never mind. KEEEEEENNNNNNTTTTTT!!!! 0-1.

Balogun looks quite assured.

I like the fluidity of the front three/four, but I think Morelos is too deep and the whole play is a touch slow.

That's pretty much full-strength, IMO.

That's kind of what I thought. I'm still quite happy with the signing, though. He has the athleticism; the finer match qualities can be worked on.

Yes, it is. I only found 3 players that looked viable in a 40-man list of top goalscorers in Europe. It's not easy to find goalscorers like that. I'm not sure we'd be able to afford him, though. I'd say the average outgoing transfer fees from Swiss Clubs is around £8-9 Million.

I agree about Murphy. I wasn't too impressed with Bassey, albeit in very brief glimpses. He looks like a unit, with pace. I think he tried to do the right things, but they didn't come off, and he was quite wasteful when I saw him. I'm still pretty hopeful, though. However, your last point: don't you criticise Morelos for scoring unimportant goals, yet Stewart's goals/assists were all towards the end of games when they were already won? I wold like to see Stewart get more game-time, though.

Nsame was one of the players I noted above on the Golden Boot list (good goalscorers from lesser leagues), but I assumed he would cost too much. He has 30 goals in 30 league games; 36 in 41 all in. Obviously, the source is unreliable.
