  1. Another sweeping move see's Barisic whip in a cross, but Kamara's glancing header hits the side-netting.
  2. That's a nice goal; well worked. Kent one-two with Hagi, a wee step-over does the defender and kent sticks it though the 'keeper's legs.
  3. Jack's gone down without any contact! Kamara's getting stripped.
  4. Well-- Aubameyang got a goal, but I missed out on more points because I didn't confirm him as Captain... And Saka didn't get any minutes at all. Stupid game...
  5. I'll move this thread to the General Football section as, hopefully, more players sign up. Great start from me: I had Saka picked as I thought he'd be a regular for Arsenal, but he's on the bench...
  6. Alright-- I'm in.
  7. It's fine. I'm fine. Join an inferior Prediction League. I'm fine. It's fine. I'm fine.
  8. What are you doing looking at Celtic stock?
  9. Maybe the jerseys with 'Kent' on the back were just sold out?
  10. Not to worry - Barkerinho to the rescue. That's really bad news. He's an important player for us, and had started the season so well. I feel like this is Aribo's year -- still will be, I think.
  11. Oh-- No Clive Tyldesley for this match.
  12. No Rubber Duck, no sale. #RubberDuckLoyal
  13. Rangers 2 - 0 Dundee Utd FGS Roofe
  14. I was hoping for some movement by now. Didn't SG say he was expecting some movement during the international break?
  15. That looks like a second string.
  16. His first season was good: 9 goals and 14 assists in 32 League games. Don't know what happened after.
  17. Nah. Speed-merchant. I think you're exaggerating his ability, in what were fleeting appearances, but I agree with the general argument. I thought he was a very good prospect, but didn't show it consistently. He's still only 20, so I hope he can improve to force his way into the picture.
  18. I think Barker and Middleton are both speed-merchants. Barker has more skill about him, though, whereas Middleton is quite one-dimensional in this regard. This means that Barker can play across the front line, whereas Middleton can only really play as a winger, just like Jones - they're not used as much, for this reason; we don't play with proper wingers. I will admit Middleton always looked like he knew how to get on the end of things, and assist. I do wonder if that's coloured by the the goals he scored, which tended to be late in games, I think? I don't think Middleton's record is that great: it's coloured a couple of goals, IMO. It is better than Barker's, in terms of end-product, but Middleton played almost three times the number of games. I am surprised that Middleton has not made more appearances. There must be a reason, though. It must be what they bring to the team in terms of overall play. I've been quite pleased with Barker's contribution over the last 2 games. However, I still fully expect to see him dropped when Aribo returns.
  19. Barkerinho is better.
  20. I thought Davis was a bit quiet. For me, he was much better the last game. I'm still quite pleased with his contribution since his return to the starting line-up.
  21. I don't think it's an assist. I think it depends on whether Tavernier would have got on the end of it without the 'keeper's parry. I count it as a key action - it is instrumental in the goal being scored.
  22. Kent, for me. I was really pleased with his end product - he never got a goal or an assist, but his final ball always caused trouble.
  23. There was a time when I really enjoyed those Soccer Saturday guys, but I must admit I have it on mute nowadays. I can't be arsed with them. All of them are idiots - Nicholas especially. Their opinions on the game are dated. Sometimes you need a change. The MNF change, from Keys and Gray to Neville and Carragher was brilliant. Although, the names being thrown about don't fill me with confidence. Clinton Morrison is an idiot, who barely speaks English. Sue Smith is just blah.
