  1. What are your thoughts, folks?
  2. Aberdeen 0 - 1 Rangers FGS Bajrami
  3. I thought Nana fizzed a few good balls into midfield when he dropped in at CB.
  4. Very few points from this one, with only one Correct Score. Correct Result (1 pt): Everyone who entered. Correct Number of Rangers Goals (1pt): R, One, Lenny, DJ, compo, Franc, BD, FA, Ted and CammyF. FGS (2 pts): - Correct Score (3 pts): Compo. Latest Standings:
  5. Whisper it... We've been better since Tavernier and Dessers came on...
  6. Clearly Philippe has not seen my Chances Created table...
  7. Rangers 2 - 0 St Mirren FGS Igamane
  8. I've not seen him play properly. Mainly data driven. Even if they can't, I'd still like us to hoover up all Scottish talent.
  9. Exactly. This is why I like to look at the numbers. If someone is creating lots of chances but not getting assists, it's not necessarily his fault.
  10. Sorry, I didn't crop the image very well. Chances created are on the right hand side. The numbers underneath their names are chances per 90. Their total chances created are on the right hand side. The per 90 stat is the better one, to be fair, because it takes into account how much they actually play.
  11. Maybe wait until the chances created dry up too? (Incidentally, Cameron and Miller look promising.)
  12. Separatists...
  13. Positional play is so ubiquitous that this rarely happens in the modern game.
  14. Bondage gear? Double denim? A real race to the bottom this...
  15. Yes, that will always be the case. *cough* Yilmaz *cough*
  16. Apologies. Point added.
  17. We can't beat a low block. If FCSB had camped out in their own box like Killie did then it would have been a different game.
  18. It's not illegal if it's a bracing arm. No penalty.
  19. That's my point: if they don't score goals (which is their main contribution because they don't assist) then they do very little. Dessers started well, then it dried up. Lawrence continues to contribute, which is why I didn't think he deserved to be left out. I'm not criticising them, per se, that's their game. They are useful in certain situations - over the past couple of years I've called for Lawrence's inclusion in certain games because we needed a goal threat from deep. I don't think I'm being controversial.
  20. Goal #1 - No. He's static in the box. Unless you want to redefine movement and runs to include just being there. A sack of Tatties would do the same job. Goal #2 - OK, I will give him that. At the very least he gives the defender some doubt as to whether the pass will be slipped through. Goal #3 - No. He falls down before he reaches the box. Goal #4 - No. He's not on the pitch. His replacement scores. I actually did agree with what McInnes said about the movement of our double pivot: Barron being freed from being the lone #6, etc. Like their press conferences, their analysis and insight is refreshing only until they lose their first game, and then the old cliches come out: Beale gave a lot of detail until he waffles; GvB gives them nothing until he mumbles, etc.
  21. It's not a handball if the ball hits a bracing arm. That's the rules, iirc.
