  1. Nice ball, wonderful touch from Defoe before he's brought down. Defoe taking it, or Tavernier?
  2. Was it Zungu or Aribo with that nice touch before playing Bassey through?
  3. Another well-worked goal: flighted ball into the back post from Kent after cutting inside, which Defoe should have finished but it's been saved (or hit the post?) and dropped to Roofe to smash in from close range.
  4. He must have been playing with giants in the French leagues, because Zungu is bigger than I thought.
  5. Zungu has replaced Jack, and he's hit a couple of nice passes already: a long diagonal and a lobbed through-ball.
  6. That was superb. Some of the interplay -- especially Kent (although wasteful), Aribo, Roofe and Arfield -- was absolutely delightful.
  7. Aribo and Roofe are street-footballers. It's a delight to see them.
  8. Another deflected goal from Aribo, but he's getting in good positions and taking the chance of a strike, so it's well deserved. Started with Tavernier's cross, to Roofe wh pulls out wide and cuts it back for Aribo to find the net.
  9. The strange this is, we've scored three but Barisic has not got his crossing boots on! A few have been over-hit, with 3 bodies in the box.
  10. It's really fluid stuff: they're moving everywhere. But, it's good vertical stuff, it's not side to side: we've got Aribo, Kent and Arfield breaking the lines, and Defoe and Roofe floating into the spaces.
  11. Nice one-two from Jack and Kent, who cuts inside and gets a shot away but the 'keeper gets his hands to it.
  12. 3-0, Aribo via a deflected shot. That was another well worked goal, Kent playing it through to Arfield who breaks the lines, slipped through to Aribo who cuts inside and finds the far corner, via a wee deflection.
  13. Typing up the first, and we've scored again. Good goal: Whipped in ball from Tavernier, Roofe heads it back across goal.
  14. Wee bit of luck to win the ball back, but a nice reverse pass from Defoe, and an intelligent square ball from Kent tees up Arfield for a tap-in. I like that. Kent could quite easily have went himself, but he's ensured the goal.
