It's still an absolute sickener to concede at that stage. -

How the f*ck was there 4 and a half minutes added on?! Just added on enough for them to score, the f*ckers. -

I don't know how it went in, but they deserve it. -

I am a bit muted, firstly because I was expecting it to be chopped off for something, but mostly because we don't really deserve it. But, 0-1. Bundled off Tavernier, or maybe an on-goal. Barisic and Kent deserve the credit for the nice play out wide; the first time we've got in-behind. -

Roofe coming on for Itten. Not sure I would've taken Itten off. -

Hopefully for Zungu, with Kamara playing deeper. Edit: That is the change. -

We're getting dragged into a scrappy game too often - Madden is happy to oblige. We look much better when we start playing it about on the ground, but there's not been enough of it. I'm disappointed. -

I think SG likes Kamara or Jack in these league games, not both -- which, to be fair, we were all clamouring for earlier. Jack's just returning from injury too. Zungu is the surprise, but Davis maybe deserves a rest. Was there not an issue of whether Roofe would actually be allowed to play or not? I recall SG criticising the fact that Roofe was pulled up for that challenge despite having been a big part in the recent training sessions for this game. Maybe he's just playing it safe and prepared without Roofe being involved - it would just be like the authorities to ban Roofe 2 minutes before the game. -
Palace thrashed Leeds last time by defending deep and countering. Leeds' Achilles heal.

Chelsea are looking good, to me, but they're just lacking some quality on the final ball. They get dominate the ball, and create good openings, but quite creating good chances, or they're not taking them. It'll improve through more coaching, but I think they need a centre-forward; Werner's not a goalscorer, Giroud not mobile enough and Abraham doesn't have the technical ability - that doesn't mean they cannot be used, though. I'm a big fan of Tuchel's positional game. I was impressed with Thiago Silva last night, too, until he went off injured: he read and intercepted everything, and he was so calm and composed on the ball. Proper defender. Last night, Glenn Hoddle on commentary, finally brought up the fact that Tottenham (and Mourinho, more specifically) are drilled into defending that they don;t know how to attack; there's no plan to move the ball though the thirds; it's all off the cuff. They only counter. It's not enough to be successful in today's game.

I was one of those suggesting Davis was finished last season. Form is temporary, and all that...

It's only from seeing the slow-motion replays that you think, 'Oh-- that's a red'. At full speed, I didn't see much in it. That movement, of protecting the ball, is seen all the time. I just think it's where the lad's leg is; it's an unfortunate placement. Nevertheless, yes; it should've perhaps been a red. I fully expect him to be pulled up for it. -
I'd say pretty high. There's been a significant upturn in away wins since the restart.
