This is great pressure.
I'm delighted that we're nipping it about - it doesn't matter that we're not taking pot shots. Patience.
We're still quite sloppy when we take the chance, including the final pass, which is frustrating.

I think Aribo has done well wide -- he's not really supposed to be on the wing, but in the half-space, IMO -- but I think I'd like him where Jack is.
I don't think Jack or Kamara deserve to miss out, though, to be honest. I like the control.

I think we've played very well, but there are echoes of last week where we've not really stepped it up. I'm looking for more - it looks like it's there.
It's most definitely a 4-2-3-1 from us, with Hagi central, Aribo wide right.
I can't complain about Morelos: he looks alright. He's playing between the posts, generally, and had a few difficult chances that worked the 'keeper.
I'm generally happy, but I want more.
How many players have they got in our box?!

I would like to see more from Jack in the final third; he's got the ability, but is rarely brave enough to show it.
Kamara is best when he keeps it simple, as the lone DM.

That's the problem. Jack doesn't get forward enough so it ends up as 2 holding players
Who's the alternative? Arfield? He's been pretty poor going forward - although he does get stuck in defensively.
We really don't have any better options in those areas.

I expected Kamara and Jack to start - why wouldn't they? Kamara has been deeper, Jack further forward - although Jack has not shown much attacking intent as yet.
Morelos is a surprise. Then again, I'm not sure putting new strikers straight in is the right way to go.
What's wrong with McGregor?

I always said I'd want more than £20M for Morelos, but now, I think I'd take the £16M.
His head's gone, his form and fitness is off, and we've got decent replacements in.
I'm now of the opinion that it's time for him to move on - I never thought I'd say that!

Helander gets it for me. I thought he was excellent, he made so many blocks and won everything in the air. One or two of the blocks looked like they were certain to be goals.
But, but, but... he's slow...

Gerrard said those rumours weren't true. I still wouldnt' be surprised to see him go though. He is a handy player in Europe away from home but isn't at the required level domestically in my opinion.
Oh, really? Oh, well.
I agree -- especially with the new signings; I don't see him being used at all.

Yes, I thought Goldson was superb for the most part - he had our best chance too, from a header, just cleared off the line.
Jones actually looked quite lively too. Hopefully he's looking to buckle down and give his Rangers career a good go - although, I think he's been told he can leave?

Who's actually available for this one? Roofe and Itten?

Why are both teams got thank you on their shirts
For the NHS, I presume, and the German equivalent; the medical professionals.

That was a peach of a ball from young Patterson.

These guys can fairly ping a pass into feet. And, what's more, the receiver can control it dead.
I feel when we do that it pings off the receiver!

No idea why SG started with Barkley!!!, he has done nothing since he signed for us, and that continued tonight
I think it was an obvious decision for this game, to use his pace. Unfortunately, we've not managed to use it!
He showed up well in pre-season.

We've not really done ourselves justice, over both legs, to be honest, but you do need to take your hat off to them: they're a cracking side.

Not really changed for us. We still need to score 3 goals ????
I was looking to avoid extra time, to save the legs for Inter Milan...

You know what? Morelos should be hooked.
What's the opposite of a black hole? It's just bouncing off him.

I feel McGregor should be smothering that.
Tav totally beaten, though, with a simple ball. It was a good run.
I was just thinking, we look more compact and the long passes have been slightly better...

Decent performance, but I'm still concerned we're not scoring the goals our play deserves.
Even today, those two late goals were more to do with poor defending rather than us being clinical; we didn't step it up at all.
The many late subs precluded any high-octane finish, I suppose.
A win's a win.
