Like I said elsewhere, Kamara's on quite a long contract. Why would you pay him off when he only cost 50k and we should be turning a profit on him? (Again: he should have been sold 2 years ago.) Wright mainly as a squad player and homegrown option in Europe. Sell if there's an offer. I don't think that's unreasonable.

They're on quite long contracts. It would be expensive - and f*cking mental - to pay them off - after only a few months in Tamundo's case. Even if we only get a couple of million, it's still a profit - in Kamara's case. I'd still give Tamundo another season, with a full pre-season under MB. We can agree to disagree on Tillman.

I still like Kamara - and he's still got a few years left on his contract, so he's still got sell-on value. I'd sell if there's an offer. Matondo has just arrived. It's still too early to write him off. Wright I would sell if there's an option. He's not a bad squad player, though. Does he not could as home-grown in Europe, too? I would absolutely spend £5M on Tillman. No-brainer.

I'm of the same opinion. Roofe and Helander, for example, will be on a lot of money - rightly so, because they are good players - but we really need to see that investment on the field much more often.

Oh, I see. I think we've both misunderstood each other. I agree. I don't think Arfield can play every week, which is where my 'he's 34' comment was coming from. I like Arfield, too, which is why I would give him another year, to come off the bench and to have that professionalism around the place. However, if we can get someone else in to replace him, I'd prefer that.

I keep seeing comments questioning / criticising the prices and value ('not at that price') of players. I think we can all agree that Cantwell and Raskin have been good signings. How much would you pay for them?

You don't see what a player's age has to do with how they are used? Have you ever watched football? I'd use them both every week. I wouldn't be starting them every week, though. (Messi is carried by the team now - not successfully by PSG, IMO - no matter how good he is.) To be honest, I would give Arfield another year. I think he's good off the bench. I wouldn't start him at all, though.
