  1. A bit of both? And he's with Uruguay.
  2. I don't think it matters, to be honest. I wouldn't pass up the opportunity just because he can't speak english. It did Leeds no harm. A move is highly unlikely.
  3. That's just for the press interviews, is it not? A bit like Pochettino at Southampton? He actually spoke English just fine. Bielsa would be an outstanding appointment. A truly elite coach. One of the best there's ever been. The football would certainly excite us. He's just been appointed Uruguay manager, though.
  4. If we're getting money for him, I'd take it - even if it leaves us short. He is 31. Have we got any youngsters that could cover? Yfeko, maybe?
  5. RANGERS NEXT MANAGER CANDIDATES: Kevin Muscat 7/2 Jesse Marsch 7/1 Ralph Hasenhuttl 8/1 Kjetil Knutsen 9/1 Marcelo Bielsa 10/1 Gennaro Gattuso 12/1 Graham Potter 14/1 Ruud Van Nistelrooy 16/1 Scott Parker 16/1 Andre Villas-Boas 20/1 Jon Dahl Tomasson 28/1 Derek McInnes 33/1 Sam Allardyce 33/1 Chris Wilder 33/1 Alex Neil 40/1 Frank Lampard 40/1 John Terry 40/1 Joachim Low 50/1 Dean Smith 50/1 Steven Gerrard 50/1 Gio Van Bronckhorst 50/1 Carlos Corberan 66/1 David Wagner 66/1 Paul Heckington 66/1 Michael Carrick 66/1 Darren Moore 66/1 Nigel Pearson 66/1 Neil Warnock 66/1 Paul Ince 80/1 Nathan Jones 80/1 Dick Advocaat 100/1 Duncan Ferguson 200/1 Barry Ferguson 250/1 Neil Lennon 1000/1
  6. When is the right time?
  7. The vote is 21-17. WTF?! How? What is it you've seen that you want him to continue?
  8. Which manager(s) would you like to see at Rangers?
  9. Touche.
  10. That's true for every player and manager. If they get poached, it means Ramgers are doing well.
  11. Glassner, no. Hassenhuttl left Southampton. It's not a downward step, IMO. Potter needs to rebuild his reputation, like Rodgers after Liverpool. He could still get a bigger job than us.
  12. No he hasn't.
  13. Then failed at every other club. Nope.
  14. He took Ostersunds to the Europa League. Beat Arsenal, at the Emirates.
  15. I was being flippant, there, @Waltersgotstyle. Ostersunds have never been higher than 5th. He took them up from the fourth tier. They're now in the second tier. He did well at Swansea - I mean, they offered him another contract at the end of the season to fend off Brighton. His tenure at Brighton speaks for itself. Just because they hired DeZerbi - another coach I rate and have never stopped talking about for years - doesn't negate his work. I think he was doing fine at Chelsea considering the mess they were in. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. He's able to implement a style and be successful with it, usually with underdogs. We need a coach that can implement a style of play and beat 'superior' teams with it. To be honest, I'm not even sure he's an option. He'd maybe want a bigger job.
  16. Why? If you can see progress, sure. If not, punt them.
  17. Yes.
  18. Most do well at Brighton? That traditional powerhouse of English football, Brighton? Potter also did well at Ostersunds and Swansea.
  19. *looks up Potter's number* *calls Potter* Bennett: Hello, Graham? 'Mon. Potter: Say no more. *Rangers appoint Potter* 2 minutes.
  20. It's the international break.
  21. Ross Wilson did. Sounds like MB was a board choice. Another waste of a DoF...
