  1. Baxter on the wing, though? Aren't we just shoe-horning him in?
  2. Just providing some options.
  3. Cooper, Albertz, Conn, McCann, Lovenkrands (?) ... Kent? Rothen? 👀
  4. It doesn't have to be a winger, per se.
  5. That was an easy vote: Player Count Grieg 8 McCall 2 Hemdani 1 Baxter 1 S. Davis 1 H. Davis 1
  6. As it's the international break, I thought we could partake in a little exercise doing the rounds on social media. Every day we'll pick the best all-time Rangers player for each position. The most voted player gets added to the lineup. Yesterday's winner: Grieg Day 6: Left-wing. Who is the best all-time Rangers Left-winger? [LCF - Day 9] - [RCF - Day 9] [LW - Day 6] - [AM - Day 7] - [RW - Day 8] Grieg Robertson - Butcher - Gough - Jardine Goram
  7. Nope - I'm sticking with what I had: 4-1-3-2.
  8. 4-4-2 is boring. You just get the same type of players. We need to open it up to include different roles.
  9. I think I'm going to change our formation to a 4-3-3. The front-two vote will be quite boring, so we'll add a bit of difficulty.
  10. We can drop a striker for another midfielder?
  11. It doesn't have to be a purely defensive choice, hence the half-back: I thought Davis should get a mention and he is a deep-lying playmaker.
  12. Right-back vote: Right-back Count Jardine 7 Stevens 6 Tavernier 3 Hutton 2 Shearer 1
  13. Baxter, surely? I never saw him play but I've been mesmerised by clips for decades. I thought this would have been an easy decision.
  14. I wanted to bring in different types of midfielders. I considered just having one striker and bringing in another central-midfielder (4-2-3-1), but I thought most would want the front two.

The most voted player gets added to the lineup. Yesterday's winner: Jardine Day 5: Defensive-midfield / Half-back. Who is the best all-time Rangers Defensive-midfielder? 16. "I almost chose Ritchie too but decided I probably didn't actually see enough of him to make a proper decision." - Bill, Tuesday, 20:37
  17. Tavernier is the only current or relatively recent player to receive votes. Interesting.
  18. I thought Hutton was frightening just before his move to 'Spurs. Tavernier deserves a mention.
  19. CB tally: Centre-backs Count Gough 16 Butcher 9 Amoruso 5 Weir 4 Young 3 McKinnon 3 Forsythe 2 Jackson 1 McLaren 1
  20. Cueller didn't get much attention.

  22. He was only here for 5 minutes, but Boumsong?
