My complaint was always that our xG was never wide enough between us and the opponent. We were relying on a bit of luck. We're 2.14 xG above Hibs today.

There's a recognisable structure in the press, and a verticality to our attack. There's almost too much of the latter (verticality) as we're not quite linking up well enough, but I think that will come as players get used to the system. This is the same team that Beale lined-up with and there's a marked difference in approach.

I have no idea which formation we'll use. I think a 4-2-3-1 / 4-4-2 was typical at Monaco for Clement, but he used a 3-5-2 in Belgium. A front-two suits us with so many forwards.

Did Clement not get bleeped in the press conference for saying 'sh*t lateral passes'? I might be completely wrong: I read it second or third hand.
