  1. As it's the international break, I thought we could partake in a little exercise doing the rounds on social media. Every day we'll pick the best all-time Rangers player for each position. The most voted player gets added to the lineup. Yesterday's winner: Gascoigne Day 8: Right-wing. Who is the best all-time Rangers Right-winger? [LCF - Day 9] - [RCF - Day 9] Baxter - Gascoigne - [RW - Day 8] Grieg Robertson - Butcher - Gough - Jardine Goram
  2. Gascoigne is currently shading it, but this is a much tighter vote than I anticipated.
  3. This vote has been worth it alone to read @26th of foot's wonderful accounts of past players.
  4. There can be only one. One of England's most creative and technically gifted attacking midfielders; he could score and assist; he had a terrific pass and a powerful strike. He had pace, physical strength, balance and excellent dribbling skills, which allowed him to protect the ball, beat opponents and ride challenges with ease. Josh Windass.
  5. From what @Scott7 explained, the central Full-back would be the Centre-half, because, in play, he has moved from the yellow line of half-backs. And I get lambasted for talking about situational back-threes which is exactly the same thing...
  6. I don't agree with the positioning, but here we are: Player Count Baxter 7 Laudrup 3 Albertz 2 Cooper 1

[LCF - Day 9] - [RCF - Day 9] Baxter - [AM - Day 7] - [RW - Day 8] Grieg Robertson - Butcher - Gough - Jardine Goram
  8. That's interesting, thanks. I intentionally dropped the 'winger' back in my diagram to include a left-midfielder - to give a few more options in the vote - so it's technically in-between LM and LW. I'm still convinced a left-half-back is one line back (or deeper?), but I'll concede that this is not my specialty.
  9. What's the formation? 3-2-5? You've all got Baxter playing Left-wing, you numpties! I will die on this hill!
  10. I can't believe Cooper misses out... I am appalled.
  11. You'd all be lost without me! LOST, I TELL YOU!
  12. Cooper left, Laudrup right is where I'm heading.
  13. Was Cooper not Left-wing? Exactly. Baxter should have been DM / HB, IMO.
  14. If I say it's left-wing, it's f*cking left-wing.
  15. Baxter on the wing, though? Aren't we just shoe-horning him in?
  16. Just providing some options.
  17. Cooper, Albertz, Conn, McCann, Lovenkrands (?) ... Kent? Rothen? 👀
  18. It doesn't have to be a winger, per se.
  19. That was an easy vote: Player Count Grieg 8 McCall 2 Hemdani 1 Baxter 1 S. Davis 1 H. Davis 1

  21. Nope - I'm sticking with what I had: 4-1-3-2.
  22. 4-4-2 is boring. You just get the same type of players. We need to open it up to include different roles.
  23. I think I'm going to change our formation to a 4-3-3. The front-two vote will be quite boring, so we'll add a bit of difficulty.
  24. We can drop a striker for another midfielder?
