I wouldn't deal with any Scottish side full stop. I was one of the many that said we shouldn't sign Ferguson and its for the point you made above Gonzo....... Aberdeen Hibs Hearts Motherwell etc would make it hell of a difficult, if not impossible, for us to sign the players. Van Veen is another example would Motherwell have sold him to us for 500k - not on your nelly. Hell Hearts wanted 600k for Souttar when his contract was up in three months!

That was my reaction too. Club first country very much second. Especially in our clubs case. I have seen some of the other clubs fans talking about Rangers players that are in - Souttar and even more so Jack - and if the players themselves read or heard it they would tell Scotland to ram it

So now that we have got rid of the dead wood who we bringing in. Nah in all seriousness both Kent and Morelos scored important goals and also played their part in bringing in important money for the club with CL and EL qualifications. In hindsight they should have been sold earlier
