  1. Pompey beat Man U 2-1 after Chelsea's narrow 1-0 win against Spurs cuts the gap back to 3 with Utd still to go to Stamford Bridge. Should be an interesting few weeks. Classic own goal from Rio Ferdinand too
  2. Unbelievable result for me. They did outplay us a little at Ibrox, but I didn't think they were anything special. A 3-0 away win in Europe anywhere is a great result
  3. The guy PLG always wanted. Sort of sums up Mr Le Guen. Won't be sorry to see the back of Sionko and hopefully Sebo will follow soon
  4. I hope/think Derby will win it with Sunderland going up with them. My bet for the play offs is West Brom
  5. Carcary is only on loan at Raith is he not?
  6. I'm gutted at that news I really thought he'd be staying another year. I'm not changing my username though:D
  7. This one is similar to Hartley for me. Like Hartley, Mcdonald has never hidden his allegiencies to Celtic - even when he helped win us the League. A squad player at best for us and probably joining Riordan in the reserves at the Piggery
  8. This is great news and I'm really looking forward to it. Last year you were looking at the games and I thought "middlesboro" ppfftt. tbh I didn't go to the Boro game, but this one should definitely be better. Chelsea are guarenteed to have added to their squad and it'll be one of the first chances for us to see our 'star signings'
  9. I would agree with that, but then by the same token Nakamura hasn't done much apart from score a couple of free kicks. To be honest I wouldn't know who to give POTY too
  10. Ha ha brilliant last night especially after we had won. The croatians nicking a win late on made it even better
  11. Thats worrying me too. The press seem to be calling Georgia the 'minnows' of our group. Now I don't know about anybody else but I certainly wouldn't label Georgia as minnows. I think it'll be tougher than a lot of folk are expecting. Hopefully Boydy will do the business though
  12. A guy who showed signs of being a great player for us especially those few games with Lovenkrands. Never really made it and as has been said annoyed the fook out of me a few times going for '50-50's'
  13. I was shocked to see him in the team on Saturday, but he did well. I thought he looked OK when he first came and played CB. Hopeless at lb though!
  14. Hutton has been really good lately for us and I hope he keeps progressing. Should definitely be in Ecks Scotland squad at the very least
  15. It's all about opinions I suppose, but I don't like it I have to say.
  16. Man U 3 Boro 1 Tottenham 2 Chelsea 3
  17. He stuck two fingers up to the Falkirk fans in the 2nd half after another failed attack from Tic
  18. I think that sums up perfectly what I was going to add in this thread
  19. Papac and Hutton - again - were the standouts for me.
  20. It's about time the SFA got tore into him too. How many times is he going to be let off with gestures
  21. Yip sort of sums up how bad we have been for parts of the season that we are genuinely concerned about that.
  22. We're never going to catch them, but at least it shows them up for not being half as good as they think. If we could get it to single figures before the end of the season that would be good. Gow looked OK today too. Started quietly but gradually got better
  23. That deserves a nomination for Gersnet Funniest user 2006/7
  24. Absolutely briiliant. Could not belive it when we got back to our bus and heard this scoreline. Romanov must stay Could be a bad weekend for the JT's if Hibs win the Cup on Sunday. Put your bets on Korobochka or whatever to be out by next week
  25. I still don't think we would have made it through, but I agree 4-4-2 would have given us a far better chance. Far better today
