I hope Ronaldinho and co make it for the game, these are the guys you want to see at Ibrox. Plus we don't want them having any excuses when we beat them:devil:

Coisty was funny when all the players jumped on BF after his goal. You could tell Super Ally was desperate to jump in too, but thought better of it:)

The world Cup in America in 1994 I think Cammy

I know we're not in a great position now ourselves, but at least it's in our own hands. England are in big danger of going out:flipa:

Thomson is a good shout. He's done OK with us and has performed well especially in europe beside Hemdani and BF. He could perform a similar role beside BF and Brown for Scotland maybe
-
I think that would be a little bit of a risk, but I'd rather have half fit Fletcher than have to risk bringing in the likes of untested players like Robson or have to play somebody like Teale

Interesting fact about Scotland's point total so far....
Whosthedado replied to Koeman's topic in General Football Chat
Yeah thats what the commentators said yeasterday. I think even 2 draws will be enough -
Yeah totally agrre Gribz Brown's a great player in the Dark Blue and he'll be a massive miss on Wed if he's out. You can bet if he misses out for us, he'll be back for the OF game. Anyway thats for later. Lee Mcculloch is also a big miss, but with Mcfadden and Miller up front we are always likely to nick a goal. Also Georgia have nothing, but pride to play for.

2-1 Scotland and a nervy 90 mins
-
Scotland picked up their first win of the 2009 Under-21 European Championship qualifying campaign with a comfortable victory over Lithuania at Easter Road. Ross McCormack drilled the Scots into a deserved lead on 44 minutes and Charlie Mulgrew finished strongly from close range soon after. Steven Fletcher found the net with a fantastic finish on the hour. McCormack hit the bar and the margin of victory could have been greater but for visiting goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis. Having lost their opener in Finland and drawn at home to Denmark, it was vital that the young Scots picked up maximum points. They made an impressive start, with Arlauskis saving well from Steven Naismith's stinging long range drive following a well-worked free-kick. And the visiting keeper did very well to claw away a looping header from Gary Kenneth from the resulting corner. The busy Naismith then shot over the crossbar from 20 yards and hit another fierce shot straight at Arlauskis before 10 minutes had passed. The home side lost their way after a blistering opening but finished the first half as they had started by putting the Lithuanians under intense pressure. Arlauskis pushed away Fletcher's header and the Lithuanian made a spectacular stop from McCormack after the Motherwell forward had beaten his man and shot powerfully from a tight angle. However, Arlauskis was eventually beaten when McCormack received a neat return pass from Fletcher and fired first time into the bottom corner from 20 yards. Less than a minute later, McCormack was set free by Kevin McDonald and squared the ball across the six-yard box for Wolves' Mulgrew to slam into an empty net. Lithuania rallied briefly after the interval and Jamie McDonald saved from Georgas Freidgeimas and tipped away a shot from Evaldas Grigaitis after a loose throw-out from the Hearts keeper. But Fletcher put the result beyond doubt with a wonderful goal on 59 minutes. The Hibernian striker collected Naismith's short pass 20 yards out, turned and fired into the bottom corner. McCormack later hit the crossbar with an audacious curling effort as the Scots coasted to victory in Edinburgh.

Not as hard as it could have been potentially for the Sheep and remember in the Uefa it's top 3 go through. The might sneak through
-
Are you quite happy to see another trophyless season too then? And seeing Stephen Mcmanus lifting the SPL trophy. As for making up ground - we've lost five points in the space of two weeks. We can't afford many more

Dnipro v The Sheep Shaggin' bastards
Whosthedado replied to Gazza_8's topic in General Football Chat
Lucky b's too. Dnipro hit the woodwork 3 times. The sheep were really unfortunate with the goal they did lose though. ach well just need to watch them getting humped in the group stages. Helps the co-efficient too -
Lyon 0 : 3 Rangers - Player Ratings and MoM Poll
Whosthedado replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
It's hard to pick an MotM. Every single player played their heart out. Hemdani would probably get my vote -
Papac has been really good in the last few weeks. Steven Smith might struggle to get his place back if he ever gets back to full fitness
-
So were a lot of to be fair me included. I thought it would be 3-0 right enough but not to us:)

Hemdani was absolutely outstanding. Dont think he gave the ball away once in the game. Suely he has to come back into the team now. To be fair Thomson had a good game also. As you already said Gav all of them gave their all. Beasley and LM were running on empty at the end
-
Cousin Hemdani and Beasley in for Naismith Boyd and Whittaker according to STV
