I think Thomson has done Ok since he came in tnh and I think he should be in the Scotland squad. He's not any worse than what we have at the minute. We're far too quick to want to criticise players at times - thats my opinion anyway! What's Barry got to do with how Thomson plays anyway? Last time I Iooked Thomson's not got strings above his head that BF controls:mad:

I'm the first to admit I said that about Hutton and probably said what you have said about the likes of Gow etc, about Hutton not so long ago. What Alan Hutton has acheived at our clubs shows we should stick by players insted of trying to chase them out the club
-
Who cares?? They can't fill their stadium half the time as it is. Let them do what they want I couldn't give a monkeys

Buffel probably deserves a run in the team, but it means changing the whole attacking formation of the team to fit him in. Is he worth it? As for Lennon, I too would like to see him given a chance, but who would you leave out to give the kid a chance?? We already have an abundance of Strikers and hows the likes of Gow going to feel? He's hardly had a sniff and then after that sees Lennon get a chance before him

If that proves to be right about Steven Smith it is a major boost just need to see. I'm not too fussed on stay/go for Webster not seen enough of him to be able to judge

Yip I actually thought our guys were probably the best performers in the Scotland team. Hutton would have been my MoM closely followed by his Captain
-
Give us 20 million and you can have him

Buba means there is still 2 games to go 1 away in Stuttgart and one at home to Lyon. We still have work to do to get through and Celtic's fate is in their own hands
-
I think Svensson was maybe out injured for the weekend either that or he's been dropped already:)
-
Back to the original point of the post:fish: I think half of the stories over the weekend about Cousin Hutton etc were all journalistst making up stories to fill their papers. Is it just me or was it just a big coincidence that these stories appeared when the OF had a weekend off and there was very little else to write about

Has she?? Won't be the same without her! I meant to say too welcome back bud!
-
Oh aye I remember Stan Hibbert too. Ali Douglas off of Rangers Tv??
-
Oh right I see. Rangers Celtic has be top of the list anyway thats for sure. I know we're a wee bit biased, but I would say its the biggest in the world!
-
Does it include foreign ones like Milan/Inter Boca juniors/Rive Plate Torino/Juve Lazio/Roma
-
In a way it's quite good because then we won't get lulled into a false sense of security. It's not going to be easy over there by any stretch of the imagination.
-
He certainly did. Not once, but twice
-
I know nightmare eh!!! I couldn't believe it. I kept waiting for it to come up Sebo hattrick:) I don't know if Svensson was playing or not - it seems like he might have been though!!
-
Sebo scored twice and Valenciennes won 3-0!! PSG drew 0-0 at home to Nancy
-
Watch this, he'll score a hattrick or something tonight and then Gribz will be on saying 'see we should have kept him'
-
You mean his obvious potential still hasn't been realised:) :fish: If he's up against Svensson tonight he's bound to have a chance of scoring, then again...................
-
Pretty sure it was Caen, but I thought they were in the division below
-
Not really to do with PSG/PLG but thought I'd stick it in here. It's Valenciennes against Caen tonight. Is that not Sebo(Valenciennes) against Svennson(Caen)
-
Some answers to Gribz's questions from my point of view 1 Yes I did write off the game at the Nou Camp as one we wouldn't get any points. To be honest I thought it was a major boost to get one at Ibrox. 2 Not many teams will go to the Nou Camp and restrict Barca to so few 'genuine clear cut chances'. 3 If we had attacked them I think that plays totally ionto a team like Barca's hands. We were fortunate a couple of times in the 2nd half when there final pass was poor on the break. I think the Lyon and Stuttgart games are seperate games and ones we will approach in a slightly more attcking frame of mind although we can't afford to underestimate the Germans. By some accounts they were unlucky not totake something from Lyon. If you had said to us at the start of the group that we would have a home game against Lyon and the winner goes through I think we definitely would have taken that
-
Yeah Spot on with that analysis Frankie. I thought it was a decent performance from ourselves. We lost the dreaded early goal, bu I felt we steadied the ship after that and I think every Rangers fan in the country was thinking 'if we could only get to half time' 1-0 down. Unfortunately we couldn't do that. Barca are a class or two above us and this experience for our players will stand then some good in our future Euro campaigns. There's a lot better teams than us been to the Nou Camp and got a right going over. Our destiny is also still in our own hands. Two wins(maybe even 1 win) and we're through the group of death. At the start of the section if someone had said you'll have 7 points at the end of 4 games we would have snapped there hand off

I'll have some of what your drinking Gav! 4-0 Barca
