  1. Thats how we USED to play at home in Europe. No respect for reputations and get stuck into them. The sheep were unlucky not to win tonight
  2. WS is far to negative at home in Europe. Playing 1 up front even if its Cousin or Darch does not work. We seem to worry too much about what other teams are going to do instead of thinking 'right lets get out there and try and get a few goals and kill the tie off'
  3. I like the look of that team. I tend to forget about Beasley because he has been out for so long. I think we miss him badly especially in Europe
  4. I would agree with that. I have been as guilty as anyone on here for having a go at the team recently, but as I have been told, just take a look back 18 months. We werent playing any better football under PLG and we were well out the Title race by Christmas. We still have a long wat to go and the football could be better but at the moment we are still getting results. In terms of performances things can only get better
  5. I'd love to see the team Fraser posted, but I think it will be one up top. Hopefully WS will surprise us all and be a little more adventurous in the 'lesser' Euro competition
  6. The game was absolutely dire. If thats from the best League in the world I'm a Dutchman
  7. Thats a shame both Hartson and Sutton have been foreced to retire :fish:
  8. Welcome to the forum Clair. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
  9. Good signing for Leeds though. I hope Gary Mac does well down there
  10. Yeah I think your right there. I would have him in the squad. Wish he was Scottish!
  11. Aye take it your not talking about his footballing abilities Lauren
  12. Brilliant
  13. There are a lot of poor teams in the division this year. I think it'll go right down to the wire
  14. Bolton and Fulham are both shi5e wouldnt be any loss to the Premier League if they both went down
  15. Not an easy return so far for Keegan. He wouldn't exactly have wanted Arsenal back to back though! Ecks got a major job on his hand to keep Birmingham up
  16. To be perfectly honest I'm fairly pleased th big man is staying. If he had left we would have been a little short up front. In his last 2 games he played he scored two importnat goals and, in my eyes at least, his work rate was good. Lets face it if he scores the goals that win us the Title, will we care?
  17. I couldn't believe it when they weren't playing Makelele. Mikel is too young/inexperienced for that role at the present time. When you look at the players to come back, I dont think Chelsea will be far away come the end of the season
  18. It has to be Whittaker yesterday, took his goals well. I reckon its a little bit too early to start talking about a Scotland Cap but when you see the other options why not? Once Mr S Smith gets back fit there is going to be good competition for both both full back positions.
  19. Looks good from the inside, but the outside view isn't up to much
  20. Sometimes theres not a lot to say tbh. I was at the game last night and this is thefirst time I've been on here since so most of what I was going to say has probably already been posted
  21. :admin: Cammy christ don't even joke about these things;)
  22. Not a bad shout Fraser. I don't think the Jts would be keen on selling him to us. Having said that he could still be a Kaunus player, I cant actually remember if hes one they have actually signed or not So many loan deals. I'd rather sign Velicka than spend 3M on a A Villa reserve
  23. Sure is and even then he wasn't even put on with 5 minutes to go when we were pushing for a winner
  24. Do we NEED anybody else? I'd be happy to go with what we have if everyone thats currently there stays including the much maligned Mr Cousin
  25. I cant stand either of them either. Two piss poor teams. If only Gretna were a bi better Hearts would have been battling relegation this season
