It's a blow to the player himself but as Gav says I don't see it as a major blow even with it coming on top of all the other injuries/suspensions. I don't think either Naisy or Burke would have featured in the game even with all the injuries. They don't really fit into our way of playing in Europe under WS

I agree Gribz I think Chelsea will do it. Liverpool have scraped past them in recent season whilst also enjoying good fortune at times. The fact the 2nd Leg is not at Anfield is a boost for Chelsea I would say. Anfield on a Euro night seems to strike fear into teams somehow. I think L'pool might win the first leg but Chelsea to go through overall.

I'm pretty sure - only going by what you could hear on the tV - that tune was sung. Not sure who by or what it was though

B'Burn v Utd is a massive game. If only Chelsea hadn't lost the last gasp goal to Wigan. I reckon/hope Rovers could nick a point and the Title Race IMO would be well and truly back on then

Definitely would be Carlos for me for the Player of the Year. Young Player is harder. furmand and Lennon have both had decent spells during the season too

English Title race is still wide open. I thought Man U would win easily at Boro. Boro always seem to raise their game against the bigger teams in England though

My first was in Eck's first season. 3-1 Prso Buffel and Novo. Only seen us beaten once.. so far. Lets hope that continues
