    Beasley

That says more about Adam and McCulloch than it does about Beasley though:) I think Beasley is far too lightweight. Falls into the same category as the departed Chris Burke for me
  2. Yes and lets hope he's telling other clubs were to stick their interest also:)
  3. From the Newcastle website NEWCASTLE UNITED boss Joe Kinnear has confirmed that Danish international Peter Lovenkrands has joined the club on a week-long trial. The 28-year-old arrived on Tyneside over the weekend and will begin training with the Magpie squad from Monday. And Toon chief Joe hopes that the former Rangers and Schalke winger will impress over the coming days. Kinnear said: "I met Peter over lunch yesterday and he started with us on a week-long trial today.
  4. Spot on in my opinion Frankie. I would go as far to say that at the moment I would rather see ANYONE go other than Boyd. Who's this Edu guy - never seen him:fish:
  5. Get rid of Boyd and sign Lovenkrands back - sorry GTF. This whole sorry state of affairs stinks. What next get Albertz back to replace Barry
  6. Been a cracking first half and Burnley deservedly lead
  7. True enough. I can't understand any of our fans wanting rid of him. His goalscoring record is phenomenal.
  8. Absolute disgrace if this turns out to be true. Are Mendes and Bhougerra next?
  9. I was thinking exactly the same when I read this
  10. I think Neilson would be a decent signing only for the fact he is a RB and I don't rate Whittaker at all in that position. Lee Miller - eh naw
  11. Maybe if we had started him he might just have scored the 2 goals for us. I don't know about anybody else but reading this bloody increased my frustration at the whole thing all over again:ffs:
  12. I'm sure a few of us on here predicted that this would happen. Comes across hardly gets a sniff shows some promise in the few minutes he does get and is then sent packing. More wonderful management and foresight:throwpc:
  13. I just hope the big man is fit to play. Would be a major blow if he missed out again. Bring it on! Not long to go now
  14. Stoke 0-4 Man Utd, 12:45 Chelsea 5-0 West Brom, 13:00 Portsmouth 2-0 West Ham, 13:00 Tottenham 2-0 Fulham, 13:00 Liverpool 1-0 Bolton, 15:00 Man City 0-1 Hull, 15:00 Middlesbrough 0-2 Everton, 15:00 Sunderland 3-1 Blackburn, 15:00 Wigan 1-1 Newcastle, 15:00 Aston Villa 1-1 Arsenal, 17:15
  15. Sebo and Darche up front in the same team! I must get to the bookies and put a bet on Valenciennes to get relegated! I think we'll be doing well if we can get someone to take Darch off our hands. Fully fit - he would have been a great signing, but we have only seen a fully fit Darche a couple of times during his Rangers career!
  16. Mowbray for me and I won't be sorry to see it! Gareth Southgate's an interesting one though. He's never really improved M'Boro since he took over imo and they are generally an awful side to watch nowadays. Good Chairman and decent fan base so I think someone else could do a better job with the resources
  17. Barca won 2-0 Eto and Messi
  18. The Tijms sounded like they were lucky even to draw yesterday. Heard they only had 2 shots on target in the 90 mins. We can certainly catch them if we get our act together
  19. The next Paddy McCourt?:fish:
  20. I think we've got George Burley partly to thank. Boydy has been outstanding since the Scotland debacle. Burley must cringe every time he sees either Miller or Boyd scoring for us. That SHOULD be Scotland's front two also
  21. Usually is a cracking game, but Real are under huge pressure going into this one. Barcelona have been phenomenal of late and should win comfortably I think Barca 3 Real 0
  22. I don't mean to sound like Mr Grumpy - but it won't last!!
  23. I take your point about McGregor Craig but for me it all starts with Whittaker, he should be doing more to stop the crosses coming in. Conway was ripping him to pieces at times
  24. Both goals were poor form our point of view. Both came from crosses from the left - Whittaker's side - and the marking in the middle was atrocious
  25. Broadfoot. Whittaker at right back and Mcculloch was apparently playing left midfield
