It depends a lot on the draw I would say. Also on who we lose or sign to our current squad. We nearly made it out of a "Group of Death" the last time so can't see why not. Ibrox should still be a place where no European team wants to visit. That's if we get shot of some of the negative play we had to endure in the past couple of seasons

So at the moment it's JVOH out and Fortune in. Just about the same scoring record in the 'big' Leagues (IIRC) None of the names they have been linked with strike me with any fear at present:spl:

To be honest I don't think it's any diffferent to any other year. The Mhedia have nothing else to speak about at present so they make this out to be a big story. EVERY player has a 'price' Hopefully it is mainly fringe players - which probably includes Fergie nowadays! - we see heading out -
I think before any of the so called 'targets' arrive, we will have to see outs before we can shell out. None of them really excite me tbh and in fact some disturb me especially Marlon Harewood. Europe must be quaking in their boots

I'd still go for Barca to win it too. Real need to sign some defensive players. They have really missed a Makelele type in the last few seasons I think

I agree Shroomz about your point with English players. If we were even going for an average Championship player we would be paying at least treble the amount I said we would get for Adam. I just can't see anyone offering that type of money. However if we keep rejecting bids then someone will have to come up with the cash we want. It beats selling players on the cheap thats for sure

I watch the maters a lot. The Gers squad looks quite good on paper. The younger the squad the better normally in those types of competitions. I notice Mark Walters listed. I'm sure I saw him playing for Liverpool a couple of weeks back in the Mersey Masters - could be wrong though and maybe you can play for 2 teams or more? Don't know enough anout him to be honest. Interesting to see how Mols does though

Unbelievable really. Italy were poor against Brazil though. I switched to the USA game once they went 2 up. 3rd goal was good and they were never really under serious threat after that although the Egyptians had a good chance near the end

Oh right I never realised that was the same time. I don't know about winning either of them but it's just good to be involved in competitions like that instead of the CL Qualifiers

Decent start for us I would say. Their away trip to Pittodirie is evened out straight away because we visit Tynecastle on the 2nd weekend. Some of the games could be moved depending on the TV situation with Setanta I would think? Great to see the New Year game back even if it is at the Bheggardome

The most important question though surely has to be - How good is he in Football Manager:fish: No seriously we could really do with cover/replacement for Weir and we should have had this guy looked at enough times over the past year to know whether he has genuine qualities or not
