  1. The flawed logic is immaterial to those with bloodlust. Kick, kick and kick again.
  2. As has been said from day one, Green's actions will be what determines what level of trust and confidence we have in him and his regime. In fairness, he is backing up his words with deeds - e.g. fighting the SPL inquiry and refusing to attend.
  3. Jim Traynor: my new favourite Scottish sports journalist. I'm guessing if I read messrs McGoollygillygoblin, McNally, McConspeople, etc; this article will be part of a coordinated "lets get Rangers off the hook" conspiracy.
  4. I smell shite!
  5. Not this guff again...
  6. I think we are probably one or two players light. I would have preferred another centre half as cover but on the flip side, this means that more young players are likely to get some game time.
  7. There is only so many times he can pretend to say "I don't know", "I didn't read it", "I am not endorsing x or y view, just forwarding it on", before your agenda becomes clear. When Tomo came on the scene, there were early signs that he was a puppet. From his use of phrases and language that had become the choice of anti-Rangers bloggers, to the angles he chose to take in his frequent attacks on Rangers, the media, the SFA, et al. Now, that is not to say that some of his angles were not justified, but it was to say that the way in which he was selective in his choice of angles that was so obviously suspect. If I recall, he did a few early blogs where he purported to seek the views from both Rangers and non-Rangers fans. We cannot suppose to know the ins and outs of everything he was told, but as I say, the way in which he went straight for certain angles, was at the very least suspicious. Then when you compare the complete and utter dismantling of Tomo's credibility that has occurred since those early flurries, it is has hard not to reflect back on those early exchanges and see straight through the way in which he cherry picked the angles that suited whatever agenda he was pretending to follow. In the spirit of fighting back, that I'm sure McMurdo would approve of, perhaps we need to begin our own campaign of targeting Tomo's peers and highlighting his incompetence in the hope that more than just Leggo will go straight through him
  8. And boy they are hurting now that they are slowly coming to terms with the fact that we are Rangers then, Rangers now, Rangers forever. #thisisfun
  9. To be fair to Traynor, he is picking up on subjects likely to be the biggest talking points. And given it was only the night before that DCT signed on the dotted line, it was to be expected really. That aside, all it did was again show up for what they are, the short-sighted loudmouths who forced all their teams to vote against Rangers in the SPL votes. Hell mend them.
  10. I'm easy. [No laughing at the back]
  11. Yup, that is fine.
  12. Agreed. And Rogers will be looking to make big changes such as letting the likes of Adam go whilst making a big loss in terms of transfer fees.
  13. I think the problem for Adam is that in a "big" team like Liverpool, as was the case when he played for us, there is no room for a player who isn't that mobile and gives away possession as frequently as he does. To compensate he needs to be scoring 15 goals a season and yeah, I'm not sure he's good enough to do that at EPL level.
  14. He had to move on to be fair. There is no way he'd play regularly in a Brendan Rogers team. He's simply not mobile enough, nor does he retain possesion very well.
  15. Charlie Adam signed for Stoke. 4 year deal, undisclosed fee.
  16. Strangely, his comments have not been widely reported...
  17. I also feel let down. I had much optimism that we would get some objective reporting from a fresh perspective. Given he was being cheerled from the likes of Phil McGillygoolygubbin from the very start, itself tells a story.
  18. He only started full training last week, or perhaps the week before, after a spell out. Another one I'd reserve judgement on. Any time he played last season I thought he did well.
  19. You obviously haven't read any of Phil's bigoted blog posts then.
  20. Seems like he has a decent pedigree. AEK Athens, Panathanaikos, Greek youth international. He'll do. And hopefully he can give Samararse a doing when we inevitably draw them in the cup at some point.
  21. Gomis could negotiate a release from his contract in the way so many players did when they left us. Just depends on what he wants.
  22. I've said before, although not many agreed, that Ogilve should have stood down until the investigations into EBT's and dual contracts were completed. He is clearly conflicted and now faces a position where: if we are cleared, stitch up allegations will be made and he may well be forced out; or if we are found guilty, his position is untenable and will likely have to go anyway. Its just a matter of time, and it gives me no pleasure to say that because I agree with the sentiments others have posted above.
  23. Agreed. Levein in lack of class shocker. Again!
  24. I think it was circa £1m we paid but I don't have the figure to hand. Not disappointed to see him go. He played well in the league up till around autumn time and the team's form dipped. After that he has been regularly found wanting and cost us goals. So I agree, if we free up his wages that can go to repaying palermo fees outstanding and let us bring in other reinforcements.
