  1. Comes down to proof. If Leggo can prove it, that would undermine Blyth. Shame that Leggo didn't offer Blyth the right of reply. But then, he's not employed as a journalist any more.
  2. I thought it was a pretty cheap piece. Jackson is trying to give credence to his attacks on Green and Murray by juxtaposing (sp?) our clear on field troubles. Quite frankly, a sports journalist querying the role of Murray just doesn't stand up. Particularly when, as Bluedell says, he doesn't quote one apparent area where this is the case. The Chairman runs the Board. The Chief Executive is delegated authority for running the organisation, with agreed paraments set by the Board. There can be natural tensions in any Chair/CEO relationship, not least one where the CEO is very strong willed and independently minded. Throughout the last few months there have been various statements put out by the club which purport to say that the Board and Green are in full agreement with various things, not least the DU boycott. In summary, I haven't seen anything that backs up these aspects of Jackson's piece.
  3. Interestingly though, Green's strategy is to step away traditional sources of media content and to drive it all in-house. Assuming it was an attractive product and reasonably priced, you could well see the majority of original content stemming from the club itself. All these radio stations, newspapers and pundits with their vindictive agendas would instantly be side-tracked. And what's more, their jobs would be under threat as their consumer numbers dwindle to just the hooped hordes.
  4. Walker's intelligence shining through. Its just as transparent as Keevins and Delahunt's line of "you can choose to believe what you want", even when those pesky things called facts provde your belief to be a pile of shyte.
  5. Looking at the squad more generally, I have much more confidence in those picked now that Levein isn't involved and making contrived arguments to explain why he's a stubborn dick.
  6. These loan deals mean they are playing at a higher level, as well as having a greater chance of playing 90 minutes each week. Also means that the guys who are left are more likely to feature in our first team when squad places are up for grabs due to injury and suspension.
  7. Its this lack of accuracy and lack of judgement that sees the club's lack of cooperation with the BBC continue. But that's their decision. We can also decide to mock and ignore, depending on the mood of the day. Bottom line here is that it hurts them more than it hurts us.
  8. Could you help with the player profiles, Zappa pal?
  9. On it now mate.
  10. Bugger, sorry guys. Been swamped at work and this totally went out my head.
  11. I'll knock something up midweek for Montrose.
  12. Not sure i understand your point. Green is far removed from Whyte and has made good a number of things he said he would.
  13. It would take a football authority with balls to make that happen. And we don't seem to have any of those.
  14. Along with the rest of SFL3. I'd fancy this is arguably not a promotion.
  15. Chuck has said many times that this was something he intended to address. I'm sure once the Sports Direct deal develops and opportunities arise, this is something that will be actively considered. Patience, fellow bears!
  16. Forget integrity for a moment. From what I've read (linked via twitter), SFL rules state that we have to be promoted in the event of league reconstruction. Precendent has been set from the mid-90's with the creation of the SPL.
  17. Cheers, catching up now. Thoroughly enjoyed the line: "In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king".
  18. After the liquidator's costs have been paid, that is.
  19. Possibly, but on what conditions?
  20. Its not been a good new year for Phil Mc20names. First his terrorist sympathising scumfucks at TAL had a pop, and now he's been told to do one by an independent complaints body!
  21. Hypothetically, say oldco recovers this £25m. Whats the net position of monies owed assuming HMRC fail to or don't appeal FTTT's judgement?
  22. Celtic use their Seville calculator when it comes to official attendances.
  23. Charles Green has been remarkably quiet on this front, of late. In fact, he's had a quiet week or so. Unusual by his standards. I'm very keen to hear his thoughts on the negotiations. Is has said previously that we will not sign-over our image rights again to the SPL (via the SFL), so where does that leave any potential broadcast deals?
  24. Out of those, only Jig and Alexander have won more than a Scottish Cup. Its the right kind of experience we need, the win-at-all-costs mentality that drags you through periods of poor form to win games when you perhaps don't deserve it.
