  1. Jig: * licks his lips* "Mmmmmm" Boydy: "Nae danger, ah'm stickin tae Monster Munch"
  2. Good to see this nonsense put so comprehensively to bed. But just to be clear RANGERRAB it's absolutely fine to he sceptical and ask questions. I do wonder where you are getting these particular ones from though. Actually, are you aware of any wizard like online rangers forums for really loyal bears that only accept you as a fellow wizard of you like ninja movies and pay £10 subs?
  3. Fair dos. all I'm saying is that the answers you seem to be looking for are there already.
  4. Funny how quickly folk forget things that only happened a couple of months ago.
  5. Not quite.... Pre-EGM they had a nomad who was happy to work for the new board. King had spoken to the previous nomad and current board who had indicated that they would work with kings nomad to ensure smooth transition Mysteriously (sic!), the cooperation of the board and the previous nomad disappeared. The previous nomad resigned and refused to work with the new nomad, thus creating the scorched earth policy I referred to. This is all in the public domain. Check king's pre and post EGM statements.
  6. A listing on AIM doesn't bother me. It's a bit of a Casino and has a poor reputation overall. I accept that the board is working to re-List elsewhere, and I'm also happy with the explanation of the scorched earth policy of the previous board and NOMAD which forced the issue. There may be a bit more detail provided at the EGM, but unless the facts as explained already are materially different (my gut feel is this isn't the case), I am happy with the current direction of travel.
  7. Sebastian Rozenthal should be in there for me.
  8. There is quite a bit of detail in the public domain already regarding the reasons for the de-listing. You can argue that it should have been expected, and you can argue that perhaps this was the plan all along, but any pretence that it matters to anyone but Ashley and GreenCO, is deluded.
  9. He does seem to be a threat, is very direct and capable of good set pieces and good through balls. Would prefer to see him score more goals as I don't think he's that great defensively. And as mentioned, sometimes the game passes him by. All in all, so long as he wants to come and it doesn't cost a fortune, I'd take him.
  10. Interesting that Ashley wants to keep details of RRL deal confidential. I wonder what rights shareholders have in such instances... Does the Companies Act not have provisions for providing shareholders access to particulars of contracts? (assuming certain protocols are followed) edit; ref S.702 is the relevant part
  11. Of course, Ashley will have lawyers crawling all over this... but this is expected.
  12. Possible implications of this, on first reading could be to: - remove Ashley's voting rights - make it easier to issue new shares - refuse Ashley pre-emption rights in any new share issue
  13. From the resolution proposed by the Board, the folowing paragraph is the "hit the nuclear button" moment: " raise with shareholders the recent penalties imposed on the Club in respect of the Scottish FA disciplinary rules 1 and 19. As a result of these penalties and to prevent a situation where further breaches of these rules could trigger severe sanctions on the Club, the Directors are considering incorporating disciplinary rule 19 into the Articles of Association of the Company and disapplying voting rights in respect of any shareholding(s) which breach these rules. The Directors will update shareholders at the meeting. as to why they believes this step is necessary, the potential effect of any further breach of these rules and the timetable for presenting a resolution for shareholders’ consideration. "
  14. Nice move - lets debate the finer points of the Sports Direct relationship in a public forum for all shareholders to see. The time for playing nice with Ashley went a long time ago.
  15. I was in CD4 and the chap that fell ill there was about a dozen rows in front of me. Awful to see, and I couldn't concentrate on the football or celebrate the goal a couple of minutes later because of it. Really glad to hear the chap is recuperating.
  16. This will be spun as a positive, but it doesn't take away from Doncaster's incompetence. He's the archetypal "useful idiot".
  17. I expect a rule change is imminent.* ** GO GO GADGET LOW LEVEL PAPER GATHERERS **
  18. What a day/week that was!! Same day I brought my first son home from hospital, after being born on the same day they got humped in the UEFA cup final.
  19. I must say that the way McCall talks positively about players in the squad and what they bring to the team is a significant improvement on the mostly bland and nothing statements we've been accustomed to recently. Must be a real confidence boost for the lad. Just hope he keeps a level head and works hard. If he gets anywhere close to Coisty levels of goal scoring, we've won a watch!
  20. So many jokes, so little time. Although i did hear that the unnamed woman was said to have complained at the lack of pre-match warmup. He couldn't find her clitheroe....
  21. That said, I also agree with tannochsidebear in that we need to be diligent and not so willing to give our trust away unconditionally. I know others have expressed similar views. Time for action to back up the words please!
  22. Absolutely - also look into other shareprophets stuff, e.g. on Worthington and Craig Whyte if you are in any doubt.
  23. A restriction for a period, on the fluidity at which shitehawk after shitehawk can gain influence over the club, seems to be no bad thing to me.
  24. Agreed. The purpose of a NOMAD and that of an auditor are not inter-dependent. Although if we didn't have an auditor, that would surely be an issue that the NOMAD would be concerned with. Also, its not uncommon for a NOMAD to be involved in the process of procuring an auditor...
  25. I wonder how the previous Board would have attempted to spin Deloitte's resignation..? I can't imagine many firms in Scotland will have been keen to take the risk...
