  1. It will all be tied up in the negotiations over the new retail deal as per the recent court case. As far as I know, the club has refused to give any hints, probably because of how litigious SD are.
  2. Too many questions about his attitude and application for my liking; not least his "leanings" with regards to our hooped neighbours...
  3. I got your point regarding the benefit of supporters. Although I would argue that this is to the future benefit of members in terms of future influence.
  4. The wealthy shareholders who loaned us money did so due to the club's inability to provide a share issue at the time. I'm happy for them to be repaid.
  5. In that case yes, the sooner we start to negotiate the better. Although from Angers point of view, there might be little incentive to negotiate at this point.
  6. The idea of a loan with an option to buy is still relatively new for us to exploit. How long has is contract with Angers got left? That might be the biggest clue in terms of our ability to get him permanently.
  7. Great piece of business it would appear. There were some rumours that Windass is attracting interest from Ipswich. If he moves on then we need two striking options I would suggest.
  8. Already playing the Rangers Lotto but happy to chip in and play the pools as well. Another way to get money directly into the club that doesn't involve topping up Fat Mike's pension.
  9. yes but as we saw in the two games we just played, he's a very influential player for a LB and a lot of their play flowed through him. It strikes me as an opportunistic signing, and one we could well make a tidy return on should he work out
  10. He's 188cm according to wikipedia, so 6ft 1/ 2 roughtly. Taller than average and enough to have a presence you would think. Bradley looked nervy versus Wigan so I wouldn't be surprised if we get him out on loan too, not least because he's had so much time out injured in the last year or so.
  11. That really is ridiclously short notice and grossly unfair to all the bears who'll no doubt already have made arrangements and will now either not be able to make it or will have to fork out again.
  12. I'm uneasy about this one. I'd rather we didn't sign him. If we do, we need to address his issues head on. And if the lad has sense, he will be able to demonstrate his remorse. But even then, he may never be allowed to move on.
  13. I guess part of the equation for Cummings is, is he any better than Hardie in reality? We've given Hardie another year and you would imagine that for a back-up/ third striker, that slot is his subject to whatever happens in the remainder of the window.
  14. He doesn't fall into the trap that the likes of Pedro and Warburton did with the various leading questions lobbed in his direction. Its a masterclass in handling the press.
  15. Indeed, but seems Holt is going on a season loan.
  16. Good news. I can see Lovenkrands being a really positive and infectious guy to work with. Certainly Zak Rudden's comments yesterday were very positive.
  17. Excellent news. Spine of the team, you would imagine, mostly sorted for first day of pre-season.
  18. Anyone else think we're due another bout of fake news? Maybe a tenuous link to something related to certain court cases? Rest assured they wont be enjoying the fact we're signing players, getting more attention from the media down south due to Stevie G, new strips about to launch, possible new retail deals and finally ridding ourselves of the toxic Sports Direct...
  19. Pleasing to see that we again continue to make progress early in the window.
  20. I'm assuming thats a generic training top rather than a teaser for the strip launch...
  21. Is Alwnick away... did I miss something?
  22. My thinking too. Very much allows him to lead from the front, be the focal point of the management team (as you would expect), but let his guys work in the background in support with him taking the pressure off. Also hopefully buys him time to learn the ropes, as you say.
  23. Thats okay, its the Prodigy and a few DJ's I'm there to see.
  24. I'm heading to a dance music fesitival in Holland next month - looking forward to seeing how the Dutch do it...
  25. What another pathetic column from Jackson. He spends the first half trying to muddy the waters based on his own agenda before getting down the substance of the issue at hand; for which it is obvious even to those without experience of corporate governance matters that a clear conflict exists and that there is a real question to be asked of the SPFL Chairman and his suitability for office.
