  1. Pleasing to see that we again continue to make progress early in the window.
  2. I'm assuming thats a generic training top rather than a teaser for the strip launch...
  3. My thinking too. Very much allows him to lead from the front, be the focal point of the management team (as you would expect), but let his guys work in the background in support with him taking the pressure off. Also hopefully buys him time to learn the ropes, as you say.
  4. Thats okay, its the Prodigy and a few DJ's I'm there to see.
  5. I'm heading to a dance music fesitival in Holland next month - looking forward to seeing how the Dutch do it...
  6. What another pathetic column from Jackson. He spends the first half trying to muddy the waters based on his own agenda before getting down the substance of the issue at hand; for which it is obvious even to those without experience of corporate governance matters that a clear conflict exists and that there is a real question to be asked of the SPFL Chairman and his suitability for office.
  7. Definitely worth exploring playing him more centrally, particularly as he's not the quickest but does have good feet and is more than capable of gliding past players. He links play well and takes up intelligent positions.
  8. Noise picking up that Shagger signing is imminent.
  9. Sorry I meant Cummings is a guy who I think would work well feeding off a target man, and I was suggesting Rudden might not be a bad shout
  10. I don't think the potential exuberance of the Hibs crowd will be a factor in our team selection - only whether its the best team we can put on the park to get the result. And to be honest, I think this is exactly the type of game Cummings relishes so I'm hopeful we can get something out of him. I would even throw young Zak Rudden in there to give him a bit of support, as I think he's clearly a guy who would do well feeding off of a target man.
  11. Game of the season for Cummings, going back to his old stomping ground. Set up for him to prove if he is worth bringing in on a permanent deal. I think he needs someone to play off of, though.
  12. It was inevitable really, but @Eileebee has bored of Josh Windass, and has a new obsession... #LetsGo
  13. I'm really enjoying how he's bodying the leading questions and keeping things simple.
  14. There's literally dozens and dozens of things to have a go at them for, but this isn't it.
  15. This is a good thing, regardless whether they see it as a PR stunt. The more who follow suit, the better.
  16. I think the main benefit of having Shagger back, aside from his quality with the gloves, would be his winning mentality and his leadership. Things we have sadly lacked at the back for some time.
  17. Pretty surprising that Hearts didn't attempt to have a go at us yesterday. If you were in Levein's boots, surely you would have noted the meek performance last weekend and subsequent ructions within the dressing room and calculated that we were vulnerable and worth going at hard. Their loss, but I'd imagine Jambo fans are spitting feathers at how passive they were for long spells.
  18. Just ignore him @Eileebee, he lives in Bermuda or some place like that and hes got permanent sun stroke.
  19. Good question. I first heard about the Arfield link on the H&H pod before christmas, and at that point Davie Edgar mentioned that he his social media output made it pretty obvious where his allegiances lie. I haven't verified it for myself so perhaps I'm as guilty as those I'm decrying, for continuing such discussions. Like I say, personally it wouldn't bother me as I'll look at each player's contribution on its merits. Standby for any 'errant' tweets or insta posts to be drudged up if the pre-contract rumours intensify or are confirmed.
