  1. Yes but his performances have been poor after an initially reasonable start. He's now behind Halliday as backup left back and even though Tav is almost dead on his feet, with the Manager commenting on several occasions in recent weeks about the need to give him a rest; he still can't get a game at right back.
  2. The interesting thing about Polster is that the management team are clearly looking at cover for Tav. Given the number of games he is playing and how his impact is dipping of late, that seems sensible.
  3. Candeias was MOTM for me. Although I thought McCrorie played well and gave us a bit more drive, that we lacked when he came off.
  4. Good shout - I too was very confused by this and noted that the BBC had copied the error. It would be pretty crazy for them to get caught out like that though, given they surely have access to the live feeds for the purposes of putting together highlights.
  5. Definitely. Agree with a lot of the points various folk have made. But the relative time spent working with this group has to be one of the biggest factors limiting us this season, adding to the lack of quality in certain areas - for quality; read movement/decision making/ final ball / scoring
  6. It wasn't the system that messed up the final ball, or missed the number of chances we have in the last few games particularly. It comes down to execution and taking chances. A bit of extra composure and quality in the final third is needed, so that we can unpick the tight defensive blocks most teams put up against us.
  7. I think what this has exposed is a fragility to his character. I hope for his sake he can learn and address this but it does seem like he needs more of an arm round his shoulder than most.
  8. And don't forget there's the wrong offisde call when Morelos was clean through...
  9. Watch the press spin those SG quotes... it''ll be "Stevie G demands protection for Morelos" or something equally idiotic
  10. I believe the youngsters call it "butthurt"...
  11. Agreed - his 10 man tactics are excellent and helped us get several results already this season. And the way we are referee'd, we'll need it some more, no doubt.
  12. Virtually no insight into the accounts beyond a high level look at the headline numbers and plugging away at the negative headlines already seen. No discussion of the constraints the club is working within regarding Sports Direct, mention of the share issue and the potential for others which will underpin any future losses. Sure we can't continue to sustain high levels of loss in perpetuity, but the context is pretty important and at least a nod to that would be an appropriate way for the BBC to report on our AGM. Fraser clearly likes to sup on the teat of his BBC Sport colleagues. Utterly pathetic.
  13. This potentially is where the whole Compliance Officer/ Disciplinary system house of cards falls over. Rangers will get the blame, but really its such a poor system that it was only a matter of time. It will be revealing who, if anyone, comes out in support of the stupidity of the system. Surely changing the approach is something all clubs can get behind? * * no sniggering at the back!
  14. Sums up about 90% of Scottish football pundits
  15. Agreed. Its pathetic. Silly foreigner can't keep his temper in check, deserves all he gets, needs to keep a lid on it.... blah blah blah Sportscene - for simpletons, by simpletons.
  16. He's lacking the game time to give the sharpness to his game that makes him more effective... But yes, alfy is the better player no doubt
  17. And whilst the ref is ball watching, they get away with all their fly nudges, elbows, kicks and pushes...
  18. Agreed. And I'm not under any obligation to subscribe so that's the way it goes.
  19. For me, no. Although I do quite like dipping in and out of whatever big game is on at the weekend, its not enough of an interest that I would miss it.
  20. Apparently that hasn't been signed yet as some Championship clubs, including the owner of Leeds, who's owner also owns eleven sports (the online channel that has rights to Serie A in the UK, and La Liga in other countries I think), are not happy as they think it undervalues the product. Regardless, it shows how Scotland is being short changed by Sky in my view.
  21. I've already ditched Sky as well. As much as this is about the quality of the product and how much someone is willing to pay, Sky are complicit in squeezing the Scottish game to subsidise the EPL and now the EFL. Fair enough, thats where the demand is, but I'm done with paying for it until I can get the specific content I want for a reasonable fee. The days of bundled tv packages are over. Which makes the decision to lock in with Sky for another 5 years all the more baffling.
  22. If it was as good as they say it is, they'd be championing it to all and sundry. The reality is is the scraps we've always fed off and they're trying to inflate their value as governors of our game. I switched on the radio Scotland just as it was announced and the likes of Stewart were creaming themselves in typical nauseating fashion.
  23. Wow. Torbett is appealing his conviction!
  24. I'm sure the SFA will treat the complaint in much the same way that they and the SPFL have treated our complaints about conflict of interest earlier in the year.
