  1. Good luck to KT. If he wants to be Rangers manager he will need to cut his teeth and I've no doubt this is a great opportunity for him.
  2. Em, we signed Scott Wright and Jon McLaughlin last season. Its also rumoured we are interested in Ferguson from the Sheep. We have 6 U21s selected in their most recent squad and have a whole host of players playing at all youth levels. What exactly is it about our recruitment strategy that doesn't already suggest we will sign Scotland qualified players if they are the right calibre and fit with how Gerrard wants to play?
  3. Great news - congratulations GS!
  4. I think that its inevitable that the green brigade will be out in force to noise us up.
  5. Sky are going to have 3 cameras focused outside the stadium, rather than on the game. And its guaranteed other broadcasters will be doing the same, and in town too.
  6. Davis for me too. Thought he managed the game for us really well and was pivotal in terms of our possession game which I thought at times sucked the energy out of them. They just couldn't maintain the level needed to put us under pressure for more than two or three separate 5-10 minute spells. One in the first half, and a couple in the second. A stark turnaround in our respective fortunes when the margins of the game constantly evaded us at crucial moments.
  7. Would be great to see Tav on the bench. His presence in the match day squad would be a big boost
  8. The sheer hypocrisy of UEFA will be writ large when we get our next european fixture with fans in the stadium... guaranteed we will have lots of pre-match warnings that FARE will be in attendance and to be on our best behaviour.
  9. Agree with the general consensus. A bit part player who is occasionally useful, but a number of players are ahead of him. He's rumoured to be on circa £10k pw so on that basis, assuming its true, I wouldn't be surprised if we move him on but also not surprised if he runs down his contract.
  10. Quite clever strategy to deflect blame, by Slavia. Shameless, but clever.
  11. Okay UEFA, thats the easy bit. Now what have you got to say about Mr Kudela?
  12. He scored a fantastic solo goal last week, it was doing the rounds on social media.
  13. they do love the comfort blanket puff piece. It’s like Sharkhead has been full all season and the pandemic has had no impact on their finances whatsoever.
  14. Really looking forward to seeing Wright play for us next season once he’s had a full pre season and the confidence of being a champion.
  15. I was a regular at Scotland games for a few years up until Walter and then Eck departed. Or was it the other way round? After that, and particularly since 2012, I've found it hard to get motivated for any football beyond Rangers. I sort of envy guys that just enjoy football and can tune into all sorts of games. And the international breaks just irritate me these days from a Rangers point of view. Far more often they break up our rhythm than give us a chance to re-focus and work on the training pitch.
  16. The biggest thing we could do to improve the standard of football is to have a much stronger refereeing policy to enforce the rules as they do elsewhere. Not saying we should remove the physical element entirely, but we produce many young kids who are technically not far away from european peers right up until they hit 16-19, then we fall away rapidly as they transition to hammer thrower long ball football that we have up here. Sort that out, protect the technical players and I reckon we could see a step change in the quality of our game in the next 5-10 years.
  17. Lol. Its been a while since we've had Gribz on the shandies Here's to 56! ?
  18. Celtic 1 - 2 Rangers FGS Morelos
  19. Safe to say that taking a knee is something that we as a club are doing in support of Glenn Kamara tonight.
  20. The club with the shortest memory in football. We've all seen the scenes outside Sharkhead and Hampden. You might not want to be associated with us, but you can wallow in your own shit. Cretins
  21. Their leadership are floundering. I reckon they'll try and suggest that they're even handed by threatening to postpone a match that affects both halves of the Old Firm. I doubt anyone will be persuaded though. It surely just serves to infuriate their own supporters as well as those less inclined to their persuasion, whose votes they are presumably keen to win.
  22. Arguably we could have issued a more immediate response and followed up in due course, but this was considered and strikes the right tone for me.
  23. Politicians really should refrain from commenting on things if they haven't a bloody clue what they are talking about. Or maybe this was the plan to deflect from the Salmond stuff?
