Barthez would be a backwards step IMO. We need someone who's mid/late 20's - not another keeper who's about to claim his pension.

I heard on the radio (Talksport methinks) that someone has gone to a bookies and bet £27k on Ecuador. Either he knows something, or he's mad.

I dont think we can really judge who's going to win yet. A team who starts really well might peak to early whereas those that start off slowly then build up some momentum when it comes down to the quarters, semis and finals. My tip will be to watch out for the team thats done quite well but not had so much of a fanfare about their performance.

It's inevitable that it happens but I never like seeing ex-rangers players coming back and facing us. Hope he does well though (but not that well obviously!)

To resolve any dispute there must be sacrifice and concession. If we, as Rangers fans, have to stop singing the one song, which is at the centre of the sectarian allegations, then whats the big deal? I think that the guys who've sat down with Murray have done a great job and I applaud your efforts. If we were to sit back and adopt a 'lets wait and see..' attitude then no doubt the FTP brigade would return with a vengence and this would do all sorts of damage to the club. At least we're doing something!

Watched the game in the pub and was funny to see some Old Firm rivalry with Celtic fans obviously supportin Poland. ps. get yourself down to Campus on Sauchiehall Street for the games. Massive main tv screen plus loads of other tv's around the pub. 1/2 price food during the games, $5 for a 4 pint pitcher of Fosters, free hot dogs at half time and some really fit bar staff in short skirts and tight fitting Italy tops...

Since we are now producing tops without the name of out shirt sponsor, does this have any financial implications? If I were the Chairman of Carling who was paying millions to sponsor a football team I would be pretty miffed if the club in question were producing strips without their logo. At the end of the day, sponsorship is about brand visibility & promotion so having hundreds of thousands of people over the world wearing strips with your name on it(or not as the case may be) makes sense. Therefore why allow this to happen? ps. sorry if this point has already been raised.

No matter if he stays or not I would imagine he will not feature as heavily as he has this season purely in terms of planning for the future so that we have a goalie who will be 1st pick long term. If that means bringing in a 'younger' keeper then you would need to give him 1st team exposure in order to ensure they are up to the job of being number 1. To go higher than £12k per week would be insane since I think it's very unlikely that Klos will leave.
