  1. I think everyone thought the same thing about Souttar in terms of his injury record, but on a free, on balance, I think he's a decent signing. On top of that, as you rightly point out, Helander is also similarly out regularly and we struggle to get consecutive games out of him consistently. Which is why I thought the comments from Super about Balogun were odd. We similarly had to manage his fitness and he also struggles to string together games. I'd much rather give King minutes when the need arises, and that seems to be Gio's view too.
  2. Colak for me. We're starting to switch on to how he plays and find his runs, which is encouraging. Can't argue with 4 in 4
  3. Goldson got stuck under the man/ball for the second but there were others at the set piece that also failed to match runners and to get a block/header in. Whilst we rode our luck a little, it was disappointing to concede from two set pieces like that. A tough second leg coming up but I think we have a good chance.
  4. I get that, but we should always have a positive objective, even if its very challenging and potentially unlikely given disparity of resources. Rangers should never go into something to make up the numbers.
  5. I don't think Morelos is fit to start yet. Likely best as an impact sub.
  6. Of course you'll get the football fanatics who watch any and every game going that will muddy the waters, as well as the NOW tv example you cite... but I reckon there will be a large chunk of subscribers where its fairly easy to guess their allegiance when it comes to OF fans given the number of games that get shown for each team.
  7. Lawrence for me also. Was the creative spark we needed.
  8. That’ll do me. I think airfield is there to try and get in between the lines and stretch things. quick start please!
  9. Clearly more to come but some positive signs there. Huge test on Tuesday!
  10. More urgency needed. And we need to work the keeper more.
  11. I think your assessment is harsh but fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion.
  12. I fluctuated from agreeing to disagreeing and back in just 7 short sentences. Slow build up is our enemy in some respects, but its more about movement in front of play to create spaces that can be exploited, or drawing the opposition into areas they are weaker. Its not so much Goldson dithering, but him having a lack of runners, or players moving into spaces. I thought also that essentially USG did to us, what Gerrard had us doing in Europe particuarly. Compact defensive and midfield lines to frustrate our build up, cutting off passing lanes, pouncing on slack passes with really quick transitions.
  13. "Like a fart in a fiat" 🤣
  14. Whilst not infallible, I'm struggling with the idea that Goldson is not a fine leader of our central defence.
  15. Rangers 3 - 1 Kilmarnock FGS Colak
  16. A bad night at the office. We need to hope a home crowd spooks them and ideally get an early goal next week.
  17. We knew it was likely to be a tough game if we make it to the play off.
  18. Yeah I'm cynical about it too. Surely the issues are obvious? Its not like they haven't been told!
  19. Agreed. For me it starts with refereeing standards. If they were much tougher on the physicality in the game and refereed more to a european standard, we would see more of our technical prospects start to flourish. We get frustrated when promising youngsters don't translate their youth pedigree into first team success, and I think this is one of the main barriers.
  20. I'm just surprised he has been allowed to use the term "Old Firm". I can only imagine the frothing in some quarters of social media.
