With your reputation!?

Delahunt is staying and will host the show. 2 hours of him every week! I'd prefer they got rid of Andy Walker as well.
-
Thats my point. It's what FIFA should do but dont.

Brazil overrall were disappointing along with England and the Czech Republic failed to live up to early promise though alot of that is down to the injury of Koller Most surprising team of the tournament, for me, is Australia. I cant imagine many people predicting they would finish above Croatia and Japan and then almost take Italy to penalties in the 2nd round.

Jeezo. Ok.....***gets his thinking cap on*** I'm loathe to go for Cannavaro even though he's been immense because I would rather go for an attacking player. So, for me it's Zidane. The way he's come back from his dodgy start to almost single handedly revitalise the French renaissance has been not only been good to watch but it's a great story.

The Fast Show, eh? That show deserves a thread of it's own. Stewarty ps I was very, very, very drunk

I think he'll strike up an awesome partnership with Lampard. Add Shevchenko into the mix and Premiership defences will be having kittens.

Anyone see the papers today talking about inducting Larsson into the Scotland Hall of Fame? He was/is a cracking player, of that there is no doubt but I just cannae go another round of 'Larsson - can i suck your boaby' journalism from every newspaper until he gets this proposed accolade. The stuff about his MBE was nauseating.

Cristiano Ronaldo

i assume u mean fifa and not uefa. if fifa are to be taken seriously about trying to stamp out (unintentional Rooney pun) play acting/diving etc then they should be reviewing matches and dishing out retrospective yellow and red cards. that way players know that even if they get away with it on the pitch then they're gonna get it in the neck afther the match. i realise this would be hard to administer across the world but it would stop all this nonsense immediately.
-
What about Larsson? Can u imagine the reception he would get pulling on a light blue jersey at Breezeblock Park?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/5120332.stm He's now come out and said he wants to leave given the circumstances. No matted everyone's opinion of him, if he went back to Man U and got back to the basice of football, cut out the diving and play acting and started turning it on for Man U then he would gain a hell of a lot of cudos in the football world. But no, Ronaldo says "I'm too much of a wankshite that I cant face the responsibilites of my own actions that I'm gonna clear off before the going gets rough" I think if he stayed and overcame this adversity it would be the making of him as a player. If he goes then he'll lose what little credibility he has left. Rant over.

Fairnuff that Ronaldo isn't the only one guilty but the boy is clearly stupid. He knows that everyone is watching him and waiting for him to fall to the ground like a tonne of bricks when someone looks at him, and yet he continues to do it. Also he looks like a rent boy and he plays for Man U - nuffsaid.

Ok, I'll give you that Becks is a decent player but past it now. If were really talking over rated then I'd like to go a bit retro and say two words ........................ Paul and Mcstay.
-
Svennson and Sol at the back would be dynamite. Would love it if we signed him but would be a bit worried about his mental state giving all the problems he's been having in the last year. Having said all that - Gazza had his fair share of problems and he was a legend!

I've had Setanta for the best part of 2 years now and haven't been dissapointed (apart from the pish served up by Mcleish last year). If you consider how much money you would spend going to the pub to watch games it's a bargain - especially since you'll average around 2 games a month. Added to that, the general qualty of the SPL has increased last year with the emergence of the Edinburgh teams. Also factor into the mix the extra European football and other SPL games you can watch as well as the fact that they show extended highlights of all the SPL games and the fact you get Rangers TV for nowt. Having said all that, Scotsport being what it was for the past 2 years added to my justification for subscribing and by all accounts they're bowing to public opinion and getting rid of Sarah O and the Orkney boy. Also they're going to have a 2 hour programme each week so hopefully they'll show decent hightlights and put it on a decent time instead of 11pm on a school night!

I would put Gerrards goal ahead of Cole's.
-
lol, in that case i'll go for hally berry up front with kelly brook supporting her in the hole!
-
Rooney and Gerrard
-
david beckham
-
i would have expected nothing less, colshy.
-
I would take him. He would breeze the SPL
-
I'd prefer Prso as vice captain. Prso or possibly Ricksen.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2006/teams/england/5138240.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2006/teams/argentina/5161276.stm So, Rooney and Maxi Rodriguez both get £2400 fines and 2 match bans. Given that their punishment was equal, can we assume then that their offences were equal? I'm not defending Rooney here but there was at least some doubt as to whether he did stamp deliberately or whether it was an accident. There can be no doubt that Rodriguez deserves what he got as he was throwing around punches. I cant get my head round this, FIFA just move from one blunder to the next.
