  2. aye, i know what you mean. it makes the poor results easier to get over when you know we're playing entertaining quality football. looking for the wonder pass all the time is fine if it comes off but it's just desperation mostly.
  3. Excellent stuff from the Boydster albeit against an Under 19 side.
  4. from bbc news.... the lad wants to come to rangers but the club have knocked back our bids which they are entitled to do. the way AV are talking is as if we've tapped him up. in which case they should report us to UEFA.

  6. saw on bbc news the booking that fletcher got for diving - shocking decision and rules him out of the final if fit.
  7. excellent performance from the under 19's. another indication that scottish football is on the way up?
  8. didnt see the game but the result is pleasing. hearts doing the business at murrayfield as well.

  10. Oh dear. That would make your managerial skills worse than your football ability.
  11. £17k a week on a two year contract!? Thats a disgrace. Thats £1,768,000 thrown down the drain. No doubt we'll have to pay him off as well.
  12. This Sebo thing is turning into a bit of a sago now. Apparently Rangers are to go back and make another bid despite AV saying that they are not interested in selling him. Somebody wake me up when he eventually signs!
  13. Cant say I was inspired either....
  14. As anyone got a copy of the song to hear what it's like?
  15. Would like to see Webster too but the FIFA loophole he's exploiting means he can only move to a different football association.
  16. I hope he does well wherever he goes. Was dissappointed he didnt get a game at the WC. Would love to see him at Gretna - wonder if his faith healing can get Mileson off the fags!?
  17. I wish you would wash your cloths noo and again! Smelly bassa!
  18. Brilliant. Wee Gordy Shortarse must be shiteing himself now!
  19. Agreed. *** NEWSFLASH **** Gersnet in 'agree to disagree shocker' - more soon...
  20. Just my opinion. Religion has no bearing on my life. Rangers is my football team and whether it's roots are Protestant is, for me, irrelevant. In the same way the fact that Celtic have an Irish/Catholic history is irrelevant to me. For me, it's about football. Others choose to make it into something else and use it as an excuse to discriminate against others, be bigoted, racist etc and for me there's no place for that in any walk of society. For Rangers to move forward then I dont see a place for celebrating our Protestant history. As I said earlier, we cant hide it but it should be sacrificed for the greater good and to safeguard the future of the club
  21. The strange thing is that I've heard that Jackson is/was a bluenose..... Anything to gain a reputation though, eh?
  22. Whats the point in banning Zidane? It's irrelevant- he's no intention of playing again anyway... Can FIFA ban him from taking part in friendly's or testimonials?
  23. I think we need to be careful on this one. Yes the Chairman has been conspiquous by his lack of response but for me, I prefer us to keep out mouths shut. Let them print what they want - as the song goes "No-one likes us, we dont care". If we were to take each innacuracy to task as you suggest then we would be paying more for PR and litigation than we would for players. I agree with your points about Linfield and having a positive and inclusive mindset although for me, embracing the clubs Protestant history is irrelevant. We can't hid it but we should be prepared to make sacrifices and move on.
  24. You must be stupid to take drugs if your a professional sportsman. Strange though that he gets a ban for 7 months. How long was Mutu banned for?
