Re cupotea's post this is my opinion - didn't notice that her indoors was logged in...

Yip, I'll go with that team. I hope we have a bit of a go at them rather than playing a containing game (we are away after all). Not seem much about the manky tims to worry us as long as we keep things tight at the back.

I thought Rae done ok given the fact he hasn't played all season. Solid box to box stuff without the match sharpness
-
There's no way Arsenal could afford a bung - they're £262.1m in debt!
-
Fair point craig but taking what I've said in context, DM offered PLG more money at the end of the transfer window despite already having given him a few million to spend so thats what I mean about backing up your manager.
-
40 minutes! Is that all? Surely we can do better than that?!?

I watched it and although it was interesting there was very little hard evidence. There was no-one caught on camera accepting a bung. The stuff on Harry Redknapp is laughable as all he has spoken of is that he likes a certain player - hardly an offence and the kind of conversation that probably goes on at every football club every day. The interesting stuff will relate to Frank Arnesen and Big Sam. Surely his son resigning as an agent indicates theres more to this than meets the eye.

Would rather see Charlie Adam on the left hand side than Rae.

Whether it was the last week of the transfer window or not I dont know. One of the pundits was saying that this is what Yves Colleu told him when he met him at a game. Take from that what you will although it seems to me that the Mint is backing his manager by saying if you want more money you can have it. Typically the end of the window is the most active time so for me, this is exactly the time you would want your Chairman backing the manager.

Cammy - great idea but there's bound to be some clause in the JJB deal which prevents stuff like that.

Interesting Rino.... Nae skin off your nose, eh?!

One step at a time as they say. A good performance vs Dunfermline would be a boost ahead of Saturday but ultimately means nothing as Old Firm fixtures can throw the form book out of the window. I stand by the opinion many have said that Rangers are due to give someone a doing soon despite all the teething problems we're having. The biggest game we've had so far this season, aside from Sunday, was against Hearts and we beat them soundly. I'm confident that the team will step up to the plate tomorrow and Saturday. Should we not be discussing the team vs Dunfermline first?

Apparently Murray offered money at the end of the transfer window for new players but Le Guen said the players he had were good enough. (as heard on Radio Scotland on Sunday)

I wonder if this is only half of the truth. He's bringing out a book so he'll want to leave some of the juicy stuff for when it's released to get some more sales

Student skint and then Parent skint. In truth though I probably could go it's just that 20 odd quid for a ticket puts me off going to SPL games given that the game will probably be pants. Any decent games i.e. vs Dirty Tims or European games mean that tickets are harder to get a hold of and in the case of European games - even more costly. Dont get me wrong though I would jump at the chance to go - I just cant really justify the expense most of the time...

Somewhere in the region of 36 league games and around 10 cup games (ok well all of them really)..... Not been to Ibrox for about 4 years now.

Boyd/Prso Boyd/Sebo Boyd/Buffel Thats my top 3. Because of his goals ration Boyd is impossible to leave out. Prso gives much more than goals to the team and it's his big heart that drives the team on. Although he doesn't seem to have the goal touch at the moment I'm certain that will come. I would play Buffel in a wide position or just behind the front 2 in most cases - dont fancy him as a strike per se so he's my 3rd choice. 2nd choice is Sebo purely because we've spent a bit of money on him and he's scoring goals for his country.

Nisbet got 4 goals?!? More than likely four slaffs that ricochet off a defender and loop over the keeper...
-
Refreshing to hear some positive noises about Big Eck as he undoubtedly got a hell of a lot of stick at the end. I think his next job will be in the Premiership - lookout for early season strugglers looking for a change of direction. Blackburn haven't started very well...

"Not every fan at these games is intelligent" - controversial stuff - lol!

He's getting a hard press at the moment - some of it justified. Yesterday's goal will probably be the start of his season proper. Can see him getting a few goals for the manky tims this season but I don't think he'll ever set the heather alight.
