Whilst your disputing point 2, I'd like to dispute point 3. "There is going to be a major financial input into the club" Whatever way you look at it, £18m is a major input. Albeit spread over 10 years worth of installments but there are add-ons depending on sales etc.

Great news and finally a selection that most fans will agree with. Are we seeing a softer approach from PLG since Murray stepped into the dressing room?
-
As much as I loved big Marv, for every high ball into the box he cleared, he could potentially give the ball away or be caught in possesion conceding different types of goals.

Cant help but feel the Gub is over-reacting about the minutes applause issue. Yes he's been given 3 different versions of events but what if it really was the family's choice to have the minutes applause?

Will be interesting to see if Letizi is still first choice now that McGregor has signed a new deal. It would indicate whether McGregor's contractual situation had a bearing on who PLG picks first.

Gersnet Analysis: Propaganda, Power and Protests

Why dont you withdraw his conjugal rights until he changes his mind? -
Thats the kind of behaviour that could get the club into a lot of trouble. Can we not get fined?
-
I'm in the blindly optimistic camp. We could be playing AC Milan 24 hours after an Old Firm game and still fancy us to get a result.!
-
Confident or blindly optimistic?

Nice one! Very brave decision btw

Good work. Did you do them yourself?

I'm more pro Murray than anything else but dont believe he is above constructive criticism. Certainly there are a number of issues that need to be addressed. The current performance on the pitch is unnacceptable and I believe he has addresses this too by speaking to the players. If he were to do more than that it would be stepping on PLG's toes and he probably wouldn't stand for it. However, I do believe that some of the criticism levelled against him is over the top although thats just my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own. I dont like the way the official web site published a story on pro-murray supporters quashing the protestors but can it's not surprising that Murray is biting back a little - he has been getting it in the neck this week.

No-one is above constructive criticism.

I always thought he was best at centre half for Hibs. God knows we could do with some more options in that dept.
-
I'm making no claims to knowing it's source - I blagged it from another board. Showing Murray with his legs crossed is a bit tasteless tho.

I think it's possible to criticise the team but not the Mint after all, once the team steps onto the pitch it's no longer something he has direct influence over. That said, there are a lot of issues with his stewardship and it's time for a strong leader to stand up and be counted. I'm not sure DM wants to be that man.

Or the UDA one's for that matter...

I think it's quite clever although I dont like the UVF etc references.

Stolen shamelessly from another board.

I haven't seen the press conference yet. Anyone got a link?
-
Perhaps your right nokiss. Anyone know if he's had any Champions League time this season?
-
Not sure he's enough of a goalscorer although I'm sure he could do a job
-
So are you saying it's the formation/system or Ferguson's stifling influence?

If Boyd believes this, he needs his head looked at

If we won the UEFA cup would that constitute a successful season? -
Agree with that although it's hard to keep perspective when things are so poor. I am having doubts now whether PLG has got the makings of a real Rangers manager although I'd be delighted to be proved wrong.
