  1. Thats bizarre. Just shows you how biased UEFA are - as soon as one of the big boys comes crying to their door they slap us down with a disciplinary. Can you imagine Scotland making the same complaint and it being upheld if it was the other way round?
  2. I know what you meant and I agree with your point though.
  3. As i said - it's silly season!
  4. I dont think we'll know who's really coming in (if anyone) until January. Given the amount of stick flying around my guess is that they'll be keeping their cards close to their chest. All the stuff on Brown & Thompson has all been speculation so far - nothing has come from Rangers.
  5. Jammy bastad! (ha ha)
  6. Whether he moved or not, you wound jump at the chance to go over and experience something different. If you dont take yourself out of your comfort zone, how can you expect to develop?
  7. Walter Smith? Steve McLaren?
  8. Not saying that I believe it but I suppose silly season is in full swing now in the lead up to the transfer window. Still think we're in with a shout of getting Beckham
  9. Indeed - like giving Chrissy Burke the contract he wants!
  10. Just heard a rumour that apparently we're interested in signing him for approx £1m. Decent player but given his shenanigans with the Scotland squad I've got big question marks about his temperament.
  11. Exactly. If he can manage 90 mins for France he'll be fine for at least the first half. Then at least Arsenal have a chance of killing the game early and he can go off.
  12. I think Steve Banks was injured on Monday which was why Gordon kept his place so I guess it depends on whether he's fit. My guess is that Hearts will play their strongest team today including Gordon, Neilson, Hartley, Pressley et al.
  13. I thought it was stupid arrogance of Wenger to leave Henry on the bench. They really came alive when he come on a sub and you would have to say they were unlucky with the number of chances they created that they didn't get another goal. A team like Newcastle, pish as they have been, are going to be scrapping for every morsel they can muster. The way Arsenal have been playing at home would mean he should be playing his strongest team to try and get an early couple of goals to kill the game, and then think about resting your key players for the Champions League.
  14. With Rooney on fire as he is then it's going to be some contest. Hope Man U win because we've not seen Mourinho have to come from behind in his first 2 seasons - would be interesting to see how he reacts being 6 points down.
  15. Dougie Mcdonald is the ref (from the SFA website)
  16. Definitely sectarian according to Geraldo Mcnayclue.

    Bardsley

It might bring a sense of responsibilty to his game as, on average, you get punished more heavily at centre half if you make a mistake than you do at right back.
  18. Liking your work there north east bear!

    Bardsley

I think Hutton might be a decent shout at centre half

    Sionko

Not sure about the young part there Ian, IIRC he's 28/29!

    Sionko

Does he remind anyone else of Kanchelskis in the way he runs with the ball etc? Kanchelskis did a decent job under DA so I'm hoping Sionko can have a similar impact.
  22. There's no way back for him now but I think we've missed some of his dig this season.

    Goalkeeper

Have heard some dodgy reports on Klos's performances in the reserves. Perhaps he's the best keeper based on reputation but current form - absolutely not.
  24. I dont mind either way. Don't think it will happen tho.

    Bardsley

I think we need to back Hutton. He's never going to get better and more consistent if he keeps coming in and out of the team - just look how well Smith has developed since he's had a good run of games.
