  1. Careful now… The baldies union is strong!
  2. predictably tinpot!
  3. I heard that. What’s the reason for no Hawkeye? Are we doing things on the cheap again?
  4. It’ll help in some areas but it’s guaranteed to create new issues, especially until it beds in. We need full time refs and I’d also mic them up like they do in the rugby - it’ll add to the spectacle and stop all confusion in the ground when something is referred. It’ll also cut out a lot of the egotistical posturing from refs and players if they know everything they’re shouting is being broadcast.
  5. Just to make things even more bizarre, I pretty much agree with this and also agree with alot of the faultlines Buster is identifying which look to have been brewing for months. Its what always happens in football, perspectives are altered quickly based on results and performances. Had we only lost narrowly in the 4 x UCL matches, would we be having the blood-letting that we are? Saying that, I said after the PSV 1st leg defeat that we were a bad OF defeat away from a crisis. UCL group stage qualification avoided that scenario, but now we are merely a couple of league draws away. Similarly, if Celtic drop points too then it wont seem so bad. Its a funny old game.
  6. Motherwell 1 - 3 Rangers FGS Colak
  7. The physicality at their level just out muscles us to an alarming degree.
  8. Positive team. Let’s go!
  9. Rangers 2 - 2 Liverpool FGS Tav
  10. A routine 4-0 win in the end. St.Boo showed in a few moments why they’ve done not bad so far this season, forcing a couple of very good saves out of McGregor. colak doing what he does. fashion building on his positive cameo on Tuesday. thought jack did well, hopefully that’s him slipping back into the rhythm of consistent 7/10 performances
  11. McLaughlin went from number one to not being good enough. McGregor was finished and is now back on top form. And then McCrorie gets a new deal and you start to wonder if that pushes McLaughlin out, even though he signed a new deal earlier in the year. Weird how things changed over the course of September.
  12. Rangers 4 - 0 St Mirren FGS Colak
  13. McGregor, but special mention for King who I thought coped as well as anyone with the pressures on the night.
  14. About to shut down the work laptop. Battle fever switched to “on”.
  15. Wee bit of urine, sorry I mean vinegar for your chips there mate???
  16. Liverpool 2 - 1 Rangers FGS tav
  17. Given he saw it at full pace and was right next to it, I’m not surprised.
  18. No arguments over a red card. Can’t quite believe he looked so affronted
  19. Ooft that’s a horrible tackle from Devlin
  20. Hearts 1 - 3 Rangers fgs tav
  21. This is so on brand for the SPFL. What a shower.
  22. This whole thing has been riddled with contradictions since they first floated it. They went and spend a no-doubt 6-figure sum to Deloitte to research that the game is being undervalued. So to on the other half of their forked tongue, make out that locking in a deal that continues to under value the product… at a time of high inflation which is only going to make it worse… defies any sort of logic. the other suggestion that PPV extras needs to be tested is also bogus. It already has many times over. This is propaganda, and it is amazing to see so many clubs fall into line to be fucked over.
  23. Sadly, I agree. Constructive criticism is to be welcomed, but c1872’s credibility is receding faster than my hairline in my late 20s/early 30s.
  24. There may be some limitations on what can be said in such a forum but the accounts will provide more detail, up to a point. Having been a little underwhelmed with a lack of detail in part 1, that continued in terms of the financials (as expected), but it was useful to refute some of the rumours on the American “investors”, and it was useful to reiterate some of the broader investments that are eating up a lot of cash. I’d prefer more info and more regular communication so Hoping this is a start as without it, nature abhors a vacuum.
