That takes patience and time. We're seeing some good prospects at u-16 through to u-19 level and lets not forget that hutton, smith, mcgregor & adam (all first team squad) are products of MP too.
-
he will add some depth to the squad but I have my doubts about him. not saying he doesn't deserve a chance, far from it, but it will be interesting to see how he does.
-
Are you covering for wee Fraser's holidays? That sounds like the type of positional suggestion he would make!! :fish:

Great to see the RST doing a fantastic job at uniting our support. One voice with a weight of numbers will be able to contribute significantly - well done guys! -
Another example of Sir Minty Moonbeams smoke and mirrors. Yawn

Can This Team Win The SPL and Qualify For CL Group Stages?
stewarty replied to CammyF's topic in Rangers Chat
I dont think we're that far off to be honest (at least with the SPL). We need a bit of extra quality but you can see from the attempts to sign the boys Faubert and Cellluar, that we're trying to do just that. It's a balancing act - we want blockbuster signings but we wont get anywhere unless we make big improvements to the overall squad. Champions League qualification will be good but making the last 16 might be stretching things. -
Aye, we had no chance once the Premiership start sniffing around.

I'm glad we haven't paid a fee until he's proved himself.
-
The East End Mob are talking about Makaay joining them as well. Cant see him coming to either of us to be honest.

Thats out of order... She would never lend it to you!!!

How many plane tickets, taxi rides, hotel bills etc must Rangers have paid Bain to travel to meet clubs only to offer a laughably paltry sum of money? Going by recent history, he'll offer £1m take-it-or-leave-it and we'll get laughed at. Stupid, stupid tactics. Until I see players paraded I refuse to believe any of the transfer rumours flying around (get it?).
-
Apparently he's interested in both us and Spurs ergo - we've got nae chance.
-
Thats par for the course. You need to have a permanent screw loose on there
-
Aye, yer taxi's waiting!

Jeezo. We really are getting over excited over the most tenuous of rumours. If he ends up signing and is a great player then fine, but, sadly, the majority of these rumours are without foundation.
-
Re my previous post. I recommend we compain via the correct channels whilst at the same time making our own protests i.e. handing back tickets, not spending money at the ground on matchday.

Naismith ( Not Intrested If I'm Sitting On The Bench )
stewarty replied to fraser54's topic in Rangers Chat
Why not. He's young, has potential, pace, skill, finisihing ability and he's proved his worth consistently over the past couple of seasons. I would stress that he could be a great Rangers player in the same way any other player may have the potential to be a great (Sebo, Capucho, Emerson etc., excluded) -
Was Harry Redknapp not quoted as saying he really liked Todd on that Panorama documentary?
-
Still not convinced it's the way forward. I think we need to make our complaints via the correct channels regardless of whether Celtic complain. Perhaps if the club returned a token amount of tickets as a gesture of dissatisfaction; along with a formal complaint via the SFA/SPL or whoever the corrrect body for this is. Also, fans could refuse to partake in any spending in and around the ground on matchday. These suggestions might be a better means of making our thoughts known?

Naismith ( Not Intrested If I'm Sitting On The Bench )
stewarty replied to fraser54's topic in Rangers Chat
Quite sensible really. The more I read about this guy the more I think he could be a great Rangers player. Another season as Killie's first choice striker would not be a bad thing IMO. -
If you geoffrey boycott all the away games then you penalise those clubs who offer tickets to away fans at reasonable prices. The trouble with rejecting tickets for Tynecastle is that they are likely to be able to sell the tickets to their own fans which would render the whole exercice pointless. Best thing to do would be for the clubs(s) to take the matter up with the SPL. Did they not fine someone last season for over-inflating tickets for away fans?

No, that would be "Help! My name is Buba3d. I'm stuck in a nutshell. Let me out. Mummeeee!!" :fish: Taxi's waiting....
