Good point. C'mon the Sheep!

Aberdeen had an offside goal by Lee Miller disallowed. Here's a wee linky for those with no sky...

Wouldnae mind seeing Celtic winning this one. A wee Old Firm Scottish Cup final to round off the season would do me nicely!
-
No but you seem to be very keen to drop your pants ^^. Fraser - I think you have a customer here!

Your rent boy fees should easily cover all that, surely?

Excellent find! pmsl!

He's crap, but not that crap! -
Not got one on this weekend. Cup weekends are hard to predict. Too many shocks and what not.

I'm sceptical as to whether the money thing is valid. Firstly, if it was true - why has he not brought it up in the press? He's not been shy in saying "play me or let me go" on a couple of occasions so why we he shy away from telling the press that big bad Rangers wont pay a couple of quid to give him a game? They're denying him the right to do what he does best are they not? Surely a combination of the player, his agent and Feyenoord might conspire to make it public knowledge given that they have something at stake here? The facts tell a story too. Buffel has played a total of 62 games for Rangers. 47 of those have been in the league. Therefore, the only argument could be that there is a clause to pay an additional fee once he's played 50 league games. Personally I dont buy it. My view, however uninformed, is that Walter Smith simply doesn't fancy him. We've gone 19 games undefeated in a row, our tactics are to load up the midfield with defensive players and there isn't much space in there for a creative flair player who is unlikely to stick the boot and quite often doesn't contribute much if the opposition stick the boot into him! You could argue that he could play up front but we plenty of other options which suit our formation and gameplay. Clearly Walter prefers Darcheville, Cousin and McCulloch and Boyd occasionally. Also, there are others such Novo and Naismith who can play up front and in wider positions who get games because of their versatility and the need to freshen teams up occasionally. I'm not saying it's not true but given the Michael Ball situation I would be surprised if Bain and Murray would allow a similar situation to arise given the problems it caused and I will continue to be sceptical until someone comes out and says otherwise.

It's the first chance to get a look at Burley's team plus I've been to most Scotland home games over the past couple of years so am looking forward to it!
-
Agreed. It's a non-story dragged out by the press every time it's a slow footy news day.

Juffers and I are going too. Ours were only £22.50 I think so I reckon we'll be in the east or west stand.

I said he had fractured his cheekbone in jest at the way he seemed to not fancy playing on. Apologies from me to the big man and given the way he put himself about he deserves a lot of credit from the way he seems to have put the Fulham fiasco behind him.

I think there is merit to what Craig is saying but the main thrust of the article is stating positive things about the Rangers support with a minor dig at our greatest rivals. I thought it was well written I have to say.
-
Oooh, that will cut right to the bone with Timmothy
-
So are you saying that the EPL is the best league in the world then since lower league mediocre teams can attract such quality players?
-
Agreed. It's just about money at the end of the day and that's what creates the perception of glamour and sophistication. I mean £70k-£80k per week for Lucas Neill at West Ham? That would pay for 3/4 Dado Prso's for us and I know which I would prefer.

Rangers 2 : 0 Werder Bremen - Player Ratings and MoM Poll
stewarty replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I'd go for Cousin. Scored one, made one and generally put himself around very effectively for the time he was on the pitch. Any news on his fractured cheekbone?!! -
He's not been in the press for a wee while so maybe he's just building back up to taking over somewhere...

Rangers Fans shortchanged by Catalan authorities?
stewarty replied to Super_Ally's topic in Rangers Chat
Indeed. It's from 4-4-2 so Timmy cant scream that it's biased as they are an English based magazine. -
Yup, he's english. He was pretty gash when he played for us and he's hardly setting the Premiership alight with any sparkling displays for Sunderland so he can get tae fook!

Rangers Fans shortchanged by Catalan authorities?
stewarty replied to Super_Ally's topic in Rangers Chat
But the Celtc fans took bin bags to clean up after themselves doncahknow! Mind you, it's hardly surprising to see the Catalans siding with the rebel cause now is it? -
League-wise, we're going to come under pressure as Celtic can now focus on this and the Scottish Cup. If we continue in the UEFA Cup there's no way we will not take it seriously given the financial benefits and the prestige. There's absolutely no reason why we cant reach the semis or the final itself so bring it on as far as I'm concerned.

Might be worth giving it a trial run if it's easy enough to add on... Means we can all shout abuse at each other in real time!

How could I forget Craig Bellamy?
