  1. Most folks will be ITV4 I would imagine.
  2. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=07eO6-fvgiQ
  3. That it is an f'ing joke.
  4. Would be an amazing signing if he came to us. Can you imagine him scoring a winning goal against them? I think it would cause some ructions!
  5. I wouldn't be surprised to see him back. I would be equally unsurprised if he gets moved on rather quickly.
  6. Yip. If he can get 60 mins versus Dundee United then I would play him instead of JCD against Sporting.
  7. I wouldn't rule out him looking at McGregor. If we got a big money offer for him you wouldn't blame him for taking it the way the press are hounding him up here...
  8. I dont like to see it either but unless we get a dramatic increase in TV revenues every season then it's something we will have to live with.
  9. Agree with most of what you say but please enlighten us as to when Amdy Faye has impressed during his career? :fish:
  10. The trouble now with introducing fringe players back into the team is that they need to hit the ground running. It's a fine balancing act but one I agree needs to be given a shot. If you bring in one fringe player for a game then it might not work but if you keep giving other players 3 games every 7/8 days then they are going to burn out. I've been saying for a few weeks now, Smith will have to target some league games to rest some players. I dont know which one's -although obviously not Celtc games. The other option is to play a reserve team in the Scottish Cup. The reserve team can be full of fringe players and all Smith needs to do is tell them to go out there, win and put in a performance with the extra motivation that if they get throught they will play in the next round(s) and will be considered for Euro and League games.

    Itv 4

I wouldn't say they were unbiased - I would say the commentators clearly favoured Rangers but at least they consistently tried to make objective comments and observations. Also, they called it as they saw it which is more than can be said for McPherson who really should be put down for everyone's sake.
  12. If Newcastle want to throw sillly money at us for our Player of the Year then so be it. I would want around £11m-£12m.... As I said - silly money.

    Itv 4

Watched the first half on STV and the second half on ITV4 and it was like night and day. I was getting hacked off at how shite McPherson's commentary is. He gets himself all in a lather about any mistakes made by Rangers and yet anything remotely good by the opposition he creams himself. Andy Townsend was good in the studio. They made a number of good observations during the game e.g. we potentially still have 1/4 of our season still to play.
  14. Let the games begin...
  15. If Strachan went defensive in a bid to not lose rather than win I think it might play directly into our hands. Walter exposed the tactical inflexibility of Strachan and his players but nullifying his Plan A, i.e. doubling up on McGeady to stop crosses into the box. Strachan then showed that his plan B was to lump high balls into Weir and Cuellar which is meat and drink given that we had Dailly in there protecting them. Strachan has to try something different I agree but his players dont appear to have the ability to play differently so what chance has Plan C got? Defensively they are shaky with Caldwell and McManus hardly inspiring confidence. In the midfield they dont have any leadership and, although Hartley appears to be in good form in the holding role, they have very few options unless you count Donati and Sno. Up front - Mcdonald appears to have lost his edge, Jim Vinegar of Castlemilk is a donkey, Samaras has done OK I guess. He's scored a couple of decent goals but the majority of them appear to come from cross balls which brings us back to Strachan's Plan A. If you stop McGeady from playing dangerous balls into the box then they lack a cutting edge. Nakamura is a passenger unless there's a free kick to be taken and taking all of this into account, it's easy to see why our East End friends are getting their knickers into an almighty twist at the moment.
  16. I wouldn't know because I hardly ever read them :fish:
  17. The Yanks have a love-hate relationship with Monty so it's no real surprise although I think he has a valid point in what he says however much it appears to be sour grapes.
  18. Agreed. They never really seem to say much when you read them.
  19. I fancy three nil. JCD, Fergie & Novo Optimistic Loyal RSC
  20. Theres no doubting his ability though. And his goals return this season has been phenomenal for a winger.
  21. I enjoyed reading that. It's not often you'll hear players come out and say something like that so openly. Kevin Thomson will be public enemy # 1 for the Green and Greys from now on...
  22. I dont believe it will happen either. There's more chance of Kenny Misser arriving at Ibrox to be honest. Saying that, Brown and Riordon are both players I admired when playing for Hibs so if either ended up at Ibrox it would be fine by me.
  23. Radio Clyde are saying Glasgow Airport is to be renamed John Smeaton Airport. Anyone spotted any good ones in the papers?
  24. Are you suicidal? Depressed? Down in the dumps? Then call 0800 10 10 10. That's 0800 won nothing, won nothing, won nothing!
  25. It's the same for Scottydog Brown. He's got a three game ban but it doesn't kick in for about 2/3 weeks after he gets the booking. It's a bizarre system that's in place, it's the same when players can appeal against a ban and therefore get to play in a game they otherwise would be banned, because the SFA/SPL (or whoever it is) cant convene a disciplinary panel in time to make a decision.
