  1. IIRC you only appeal straight reds for non-violent conduct.
  2. A very pertinent point, and one often missed, ignored or not realised. On the point of Muir speaking out or answering questions. It would be, frankly, bizarre if Muir was to do so. As said by someone else, that responsibility is for the Chief Exec or possibly the Chairman. By all means a non-executive director can have duties which involve being a public face for an organisation but I would suggest that dealing with press and internet speculation would not be such an instance.
  3. Noticed that myself. I wonder if the irony dawned on wabash before posting the link? On another note, and to defend wabash to an extent, one of the purposes of a Non-Exec is to protect shareholder interest and value. And on that basis, his appointment appears to be on the basis of protecting MIH as the majority shareholder.
  4. If we get a fee > £5m (hopefully towards £7m) then he can leave. Hopefully Smith can pick another foreign centre half and start the whole process again, bagging a nice wee profit in transfer fees in the process.
  5. I've got my optimistic hat back on after the initial shock of seeing who we had. Regardless of who the big seed is, there's always a chance we can pull off a result akin to v France under Smith/ McLeish.
  6. So you believe someone from the world web web above a set of audited accounts? Jog on...
  7. Switched over to see the Pars stick away the penalty. "Keano, what's the score?" - loving the Pars songbook!
  8. If Levein gets off to a good start, I agree we can be cautiously optimistic. Much will depend on getting the squad togetherness and team spirit akin Smith, McCoist and Burns' reign.
  9. Yup. Because a bank would never, ever, ever, cross my hear and hope to die, ever, ever, ever act only in their own self-interest and lie about their intentions.
  10. All I can say is.... Oofft!
  11. Would love it if we got England...
  12. He's not so subtley implying that SDM still holds all the aces. Interestingly though I did read in today's Metro that MIH has just bought an old wine merchants business in Edinburgh that was in administration. That may contradict the notion that MIH is struggling as badly as thought...
  13. I think we can expect him to further work his ticket at the end of the year... The move he has been wanting is only round the corner methinks...
  14. Unashamedly stolen from elsewehere but I had to post it here... 'Arry reacts to tonights scoreline...
  15. Are they 'experts and commentators' or are they just people who think they have some inside info? Much like yourself....
  16. Its a non-story to be saying he's criticising the club's statement. If anything he's saying "yeah, but" and "it depends".

    Hello Everyone

Welcome to Gersnet chaps! Edit: Or chapesses?:fish:
  18. Hibs' performance at the weekend should give them confidence to go after them a bit. With Stokes, Riordon and Nish all in form, anything could happen.
  19. 3-1 now. Fortune to be fair, they've created a fair amount of chances
  20. I would argue that the red card was harsh given that there was a covering defender and it looked accidental. Yellow at most.
  21. Well, I've posted a NOTW story today too so I can't be TOO critical but I chuckled when I read that. Adam is clearly enjoying playing regularly and perhaps has found a level that he is able to perform well. Now, if Blackpool had taken some big scalps in the cup with Charlie instrumental in doing so, I could perhaps understand the price tag and the fact a EPL team were after him. But maybe I've missed something...
  22. Apparently the NOTW is saying he wants to play for Scotland rather than Oirland. If this is true, I'm pleased to see he has finally seen sense. Seems like the lad has done a bit of growing up since moving down south. I listened to some of the advice the lad was given at the time and was mystified at how poor it was. Clearly there were certain individuals looking to further their own agendas rather than doing what was right. It would certainly be interesting to see how many of the Tartan Army welcome him with open arms given their treatment of Boyd.... :box: http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/scottish/scottish_sport/696688/Ex-Hamilton-ace-to-talk-to-Craig-Levein-about-Scotland-switch.html
  23. Fair dos, it was a word of caution, that is all.
  24. I agre in part. Maybe they could have picked a weekend with at least one decent game (on paper at least) but I've seen myself subscribe to Setanta and Sky Sports because I've wanted to see a specific event. I might only subscribe for the minimum period before cancelling or I might keep it for a few months depending on what other stuff is on. So, to pick a bumper weekend of top events, they may well be doing themselves out of a sizeable chunk of income. In these difficult financial times, cash is king so I can understand why they are doing it.
