  1. Interesting stats. Wouldn't mind seeing the history over a longer term and to see how it pans out for the rest of the season.
  2. Good article. I cannot make it to the protest but support its aims.
  3. I've read quite a bit of it and concur that it is mostly speculative but with a grain or two of fact. Opium for the masses, it keeps them going. If the tax case goes in our favour, they will look rather silly indeed. If it goes against us, some of their speculation may come to the fore but it really is an unnatural obsession when there's so much of their own teams woes to concentrate on.
  4. Good question. My only guess is that onine bloggers can speculate till the cows come home without ever really being taken seriously. There is/was plenty of chat about the likes of Scotzine, Phill Mctwelvenames, et al; being threatened with legal action. Did scotzine not take down an article based on one such threat? But when a state funded broadcaster steps in and indulges it, I would argue that changes the game entirely. The real question I think is whether Whyte is actually instigating proceedings via Messrs Carter-Fuck (sic), or whether this is a news management ploy to tide him over until the outcome of the tax case is known.
  5. Danny, not sure I agree. By attacking Whyte, and making accusations of "criminality", they are damaging Rangers too. If Whyte believes this is maliccious (which he indicates, he does), then I can't see how the club and Whyte can be separated. Plus, in times of uncertainty, it is important that we act as one. And let's not forget that this stuff has been going on un-checked for some time. And there's a world of difference between some (almost) anonymous bloggers creating cult followings through speculation and innuendo, and a state funded broadcaster indulging it all too.
  6. Any chance someone could post the details. Using my phone and struggling to access the link. Ta!
  7. True. And they have previous. "No one likes us, we don't care"
  8. Good point. If, say, Neil Lennon was to go over his ankle, accidentally, at the next OF game (assuming he is still in the job!), would we just clap politely if he was stretchered off?
  9. Yet more speculation. Ifs and maybes. I'll wait to see the outcome of the tax case before I start worrying about this stuff. Ta!
  10. Welcome to Gersnet, Duncan!
  11. Hmmm. Not Leggo's best by any stretch. But good to see him back all the same!
  12. The worrying quote I heard was apparently from Super that he feels the same as when he did his other knee in. If that is the case, he could be out for some time.
  13. Do you think his injury today was related to whatever was troubling him back then? Seemed to me he was stretching too far into the challenge and took a knock to his knee. And that he then went down awkwardly a few minutes later, clearly suffering from the earlier challenge.
  14. A wee touch of class from Lafferty, I thought. Reflects the spirit and the togetherness of the squad that his first thought upon scoring against quite a stodgy defence, was to think of his team mate.
  15. Big Jim McIntyre's team talk is already prepared. All he needs is a copy of the quotes from a Mr A Stokes on Thursday. To paraphrase: "We consider ourselves to be 7 points behind Rangers, not 10". So, how you feeling about that now Stokesy? Not a surprise really, based on the antics of his family back in Dublin, but the guy really is a first class roaster!
  16. Indeed. And long may it continue. And when Lennon goes, you can guarantee it'll be spun as him having been forced out by all of those other reasons and not the fact that he simply a manager with numerous failings in his career so far.
  17. Joyful. Is the penny finally dropping in the East End that their problems stem from and extend no further than the Irn Bru toothed wonder alone? If I was their Board thats the kind of judgement I would be making.
  18. Not quite. The lunacy is/was entirely of his own making. Smudger just called him out and thus he rapidly changed his tune. The man does not have the balls to state on live radio the opinions he and his fellow CQN delusionalists spout forth online. Now why would that be?
  19. Speculation and obfuscation. This is their forte. The guy from CQN got absolutely roasted on Radio Scotland last year by Gordon Smith when he went on spouting his anti-Celtic ethno-religious institutional bias stuff about the Celtic, the SFA and "Dougie Dougie-gate". The phrase that made me laugh at the time was along the lines of that it was a failure of "corporate governance", or some such. The guy clearly fancies himself as a businessman and tried vainly to sound like he knew what he was talking about. But really, he does not. This article just adds further fuel to the fire. He has loads of like-minded delusionalists who post comments on his blog. They seem to revel in posting first on any blog posts he puts up, such is their simpleton nature. He was even re-tweeting like a maniac all the replies he had in relation to the pre-pack post above. The fact that they are so loving our financial difficulties is tremendous. They are hanging their hopes on us going into administration based on nothing more than hope. They know nothing more than we do, and all we can do is speculate so anything that means there's less focus on Lennon, and the longer he remains in post, the more trophies I reckon will be lining our trophy cabinet.
  20. Make that 4 and with Sproule just being sent off.
  21. 1-3 Stokes
  22. Gersnet leading the way. Good stuff!
  23. Dammit, I had an idea I was toying with developing in the Gersnet Writers lounge about the Rangers and the SNP should be kindrid spirits in their complaints about the BBC. Ach well.
  24. I'd definately prefer to see the Sheep get all 3 points!
  25. Thing is, the Beeb now have the entire Rangers support on the look out to do any and all digging on their work. There will be much more than this to come, I'm sure. On its own, the screenshots don't necessarily prove any bias, but its not exactly a surprise to see the people involved in the making of Thursday's Timorama are in cahoots with the likes of Phil McWhatshisname.
